  1. Ahhh, I only need the chipper, the plan is to put it the van and chip into my trailer. Any idea of what sort of money he's after? There's also one in Carmarthen but with a trailer, and for the price of that I can by a new CS100 which a shame.
  2. Im looking to buy a small chipper and just wondered out of interest is any body selling a wee chipper, cs100, haecksler, Jo beau maybe? Thanks.
  3. Hi Padman, do you still have the rock chipper. Is it still going good? I'm looking at wee chippers at the moment. The CS100 initially and although I can fund it, it's alot of money. Was looking at the rock and Deleks do a very similar chipper to the CS100 with the same Briggs engine as the rock and around the same price. Both look good on video. Any input would be gratefully accepted. Thanks

  4. Yes good point, I've just managed to see from the video it's a 2100 series briggs. Not commercial rated as you say. I'd be interested to hear from any body still using Chinese made machines who have posted on here previously are they still good? Both the machines I talked about are not available for a couple of weeks so I have some time to keep looking. Any suggestions.?
  5. This is true in some respects. Just out of curiosity I just checked my Masport mower. It's my go to mower for most of my grass jobs, the second I've owned, the first lasted nearly 5 years and it doesn't miss a beat. In my opinion a fantastic mower. I'm not saying its as good as an etesia for example but with it costing nearly 3 times less it does the job very well. Guess where it's made? China. Makes you wonder!
  6. Ok thanks, I wasn't sure and I retract my insinuating remarks. Well then Deleks have blatantly ripped off the design of the greenmech and added a few things. The woman from delek I spoke to was honest enough to say the were made in china but to their spec so apparently are better made than most, is that true? I don't know. Just supposing for a moment it is as good as the greenmech, or indeed any other well known brand how can how can these companies justify charging 3 times as much, even after taking into consideration the higher production cost of the UK or Europe. The more I look the more I feel prices of these chippers are well inflated
  7. I'm not disputing that, but if you compare it to the Deleks, there's no disputing it is virtually the same machine, just out of interest, where is the greenmech produced?
  8. Yes many look the same. The Deleks one is a carbon copy of the greenmech cs100 as far as I can see, appart from the folding hoper and swivel chute and 15hp Briggs instead of 18hp. I have spoken to both Deleks and my local green mech dealer today and it may be a strange coincidence but both machines are on a 2-3 week wait. I also spoke to a farm supplier who have dealt with Deleks and he reckons it is well built stuff. I may take a punt for price.
  9. Just spotted a Delek DK 800. 15 hp Briggs engine. Looks just like a CS100 at a third of the price. Any body know any thing about them? It has a hinged hopper and a directional chute and a clutch to disengage the engine from the drum. Which all looks very handy.
  10. Hi all, I'm looking for a small chipper and have just about settled on a cs100. This morning I called Cambrian in Cardiff just to see what sort of prices they offer, the sales man I spoke to said they no longer stock them but sell the genpower c100,( I think that's right). Says they are virtually the same machine but with a Honda engine at nearly £1000 less? Any body seen or heard of them, theres nothing coming up on the internet. Thanks in advance.
  11. Hi all, theres an echo bearcat SC5670b for sale on eBay at the moment. Looks like new and starting price is not alot, anybody used one or know any thing about them. Can't find much on the internet. Also anybody having trouble with the arbtalk app?
  12. Yes I agree and it was used as such. But still a pile of **** Sent from my XT1580 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Sorry, I'll elaborate, I had one when I was starting off and it was a a pile of sh*t. Tool less tensioner, broke, had to put a standard side cover on, more grunt in a pig, horrible to start, dogs came lose and snagged in the chain ripping the plastics allowing oil to leak out. All in all not a good experience, needless to say I haven't bought a husky chainsaw since. It's th orange and white for me now. Sent from my XT1580 using Arbtalk mobile app

  15. Then throw them out of the plane over the ocean. Why should these scum be afforded any human rights. Sent from my XT1580 using Arbtalk mobile app

  17. Strip them of citizenship, there has to be some deterant. As for exploding populations, the answer is surely education but how you implement that is another question. Sent from my XT1580 using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. I don't know about all Muslims prisons, I'd rather they were deported. As for mass migration, I agree, these poor people have to go some where, I think we would all be on the move if we were in their situation. But I believe a lot of this is because of campaigns like the Iraq war for one example, where the country is invaded, left in termoil and then abandoned. Taking out Sadam Hussain led directly to the rise f IS. You cut of one head and ten more grow. Western countries should really stop trying to fix the world with wars, or maybe it's too late for that now. Sent from my XT1580 using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. It's not just the UK, daesh, and you should call them daesh, are targeting all over the world on nearly a daily basis. It's just we don't hear about it. The reason. Daesh believe that Islam is the only way and we should convert or die. Many years of tolerance and acceptance in this country has allowed islamist extremists to what ever they want, and they do. They have no interest in integrating into society or adopting British cultures. There is Islam or nothing. It's going to be a long task but we need to root out these daesh and send them back to what ever depraved sh*t hole they originated from. Even if they are British born and if the family kicks up a stink, send them back too. I don't see the point in putting them in prisons so that they can radicalise others, get them out. Let's stop the PC crap. There are many good Muslims in this country and they have to realise that action on this scale is needed and if they are not happy with that then maybe they should be looking to live else where too. This is not in any way a racist rant before any one decides to go there, I am all in favour of live and let live. This is the truth.
  20. Anybody down my way looking for casual work, at least 16hrs over 2 days until the end of the season. General grounds maintenance and some tree work. Some one who is confident enough to work on thier own on some jobs would be good. Preferably with a clean driving license. Pay to be discussed based on experience. 21. I'd guarantee that it will stay up until they paid the bill. 😁. But seriously how can you guarantee a feather edge fence for example? It's rough sawn wood and as others have said the quality is not consistent. Obviously you can give your word on workmanship but I would offer nothing on the materials. 22. You should report it to the plod, even if just for a crime no. You never know they might do some thing. I would definitely contact eBay, looks like the guy sells a lot on there and has a good feedback score, he may not want to compromise that. He may or may not know it's stolen but I suspect if he's confronted in person you won't get very far unless you're willing to give him some persuasion and then no doubt you'll be in the sh*t. 23. Good advice so far thanks. And yes departed I see what you are saying. As far as growing the business, there is definitely scope for that, but as an earlier post on the forum discusses, I can't seem to find good staff. I'm p**sed off people who just turning up and expect to get paid for being a Muppet. I could through the summer do with something one in another van going off to do jobs. But if they are no good I'm going to end up losing trade. Maybe I'm expecting to much. Maybe I'm going on a bit. I suppose it's a conundrum that lots of small business face. 24. In a nutshell I want to know if any one has sold a small business and how they went about it, how do you put a value on it? I'm a sole trader, been going for around 10 years. Although there's no property to sell and the business is debt free. I do have a van, trailer, and a fair amount of kit and a decent customer base. Any thoughts please.
