  1. Half tempted to order off FR Jones and pick-up at the show with the current prices !?!
  2. Is cash king at these types of shows for best deals ? Looking at purchasing a few items but don't fancy carrying that sort of cash around with me to be honest.

  4. Cheers fellas, yes Mac your right mate. Will stop worrying and leave the ring on
  5. Hi folks, Recently got a swivel to attach to the harness bridge. Trying to work out it leaving the original ring on the bridge would have its benefits? Any advice, pro's / cons to having two connections on the bridge. The only thing I can see so far is which ever side the ring is left on, the main connection point (the swivel) wont go the right to the end if that makes sense. Many thanks, Joel
  6. If you take the ticket and receipt into Aldi they will right it off for you mate, they like to keep their customers happy
  7. Providing you have a good phone signal could you not just download a GPS logger. Stand next to the oak tree and set the point, give it a name like oak 1. A little different I know but I use GPS Essentials to log areas of river I fish. I can plot captures, under water snags and any other info. It can be viewed on a computer once home too and the waypoints can be fine tuned if needed.
  8. Ive been using a "Brabantia peg clothes bag" to store my strop in. Ok may not be as techy as this but does the job, weighs next to nothing and at £8 cheap
  9. Set it up to film and take a photograph at the same time. I have mine set to take one every 5 seconds. Only downside is it kills the battery quicker and you do need a decent sized memory card.
  10. You can use Windows Movie Maker to edit the video. Alot easier to use than the GoPro Software imo. Only possible downside is you cant mess around the the colour settings much
  11. Nice one. Will place an order and keep the fingers crossed.
  12. Hi there, Does anyone have any experience using this rope ? I notice HB have it for sale in their black Friday offerings so the chance to save a few pennies and try something new would be awesome. Im used to climbing on Yale XTC but the rope is coming to the end of its "safe" working life. Regards, Joel
