  1. Sorry just seen your message. I bought a shed loads of kit from a guy who was a college drop out but had seemingly bought every item of climbing kit under the sun...! It's all brand new so don't know what he was playing at really.
  2. For all those that wanted some photos of the Protos helmet I have for sale. Here it is, sorry for not getting them on earlier. £140.
  3. In my opinion I would take it down to where the previous cuts have been. You shouldn't really go below by too much if you can help it.
  4. Stephen. Why do you say 'only go self-employed if you can confidently say I can do that without seeing the tree'?
  5. Nice photos muttley thanks. Lovely little truck. That's exactly what I'm after! The supercab does makes sense and like you say as long as it's not a silly long journey then an extra groundie can hop in the back should you require it. My mind is well and truly made up.
  6. I have one for sale brand new if anybody is interested. Green and grey colours, looks badass. PM me 👍
  7. Muttley have you got a photo of it you don't mind sharing?
  8. Very difficult to find a decent one though. They're priced much higher also. Give me a shout if your selling one by the way.... 👍
  9. I really like the look of the Ford Ranger supercab for this purpose. I was looking at the rear end and looks like you get more buck space on a supercab compared to a double cab as well. Any other make/model recommendations for this set up?
  10. Yes please do, if you could snap a pic of it I would really appreciate it. I have emailed them anyway so let's see what they say.
  11. Eggs. Do you know of a company who could fit it as it looks like this company will only fabricate the tipper body...
  12. Thanks I will contact them now...
  13. Has anybody converted a regular Ranger supercab to a tipper? Who did you use? (Recommendations, closer to East Anglia the better however I am willing to travel) What did you pay? Advice? Thanks,
  14. We ain't all blessed! If I look at my accounts through my current beer goggles I can just about afford a mog...
  15. Please share your wisdom skyhuck. What do you run?
  16. There's a hell of a lot of these about. Ok sometimes they're seen as gipsy vehicles but what's the main reason for why so many purchase them? Is it money based?
  17. Haha, the Ranger stereotype is a workaholic! That's a new one 😩🔫
  18. Can any of you guys put pictures up of your Rangers whilst you are all in one place.... Interested to see what mods you have....
  19. A yard is absolutely essential in my opinion also, especially should you want to increase volume of work. Does anybody offer an increased rate depending on work volume or log sales?

95k miles on the clock and a new gearbox! That could be seen as both a good and a bad thing I'm sure!? Warranty is up so yes will be at my expense....

Well looked after is what I'd expect for a landy to go for a long time. It is a 09 plate what I'm looking at so not old really.... How's available are you finding parts these days?

Now I'm on a Land Rover thread, how many miles do you guys think a 130 has in her before she starts becoming a liability. I'm being offered one with 95k on clock fully arb boxed up. Any thoughts on what to look for maintenance wise.... Cheers
  24. Yes much agreed. I was more talking of the small space just for a little storage of machinery and equipment. I now have a rough idea on what would mutually benefit both parties so thanks. 👍
  25. I was thinking £120 would be a fair price to keep both parties happy. £365 does seem very steep, think I would be looking elsewhere.
