  2. If I call him that I get the axe between my ears . Mind you in there's nothing in there to damage
  3. Who's George Michael Jon
  4. Thanks Jon your a real star . There's a place here called county supplies and they got a load of bahco and fiskars I may pop over there in and just pick something up to tie me over then get a decent one a bit later on
  5. Hi Jon I been looking at them but I may not wait til the show so I can get it split and gone this weekend
  6. I got a bit of oak to split for a customer so what's best ?
  7. I definitely don't think the generous off time exists in the NHS . Mrs R has been having her regulation 2 days then 9 days straight . Her shifts patterns are also hilarious getting home at 10 pm with a five am start the next day . So generous off time definitely does not exist for nurses I afraid
  8. Mind you Jon if a few of me numbers come up on the lottery then look out there won't be anything left at the Arb show for anyone to look at
  9. I being sent to the arb show with enough pocket money for a new rope
  10. Hi Kevin some do take bank work as they call it on their days off. And as someone strongly against unions I don't think it's the unions fault this has been created. My wife wants to take all her holidays when I take mine but she can't she has to take regular breaks in between to stop the possibility of tiredness affecting her job. So that problem is on the decrease. The problem as created when they decided that they need only so many staff per ward and temp workers would make up the difference when the need arises. However the need is now on a daily basis so the full time staff should be increased. Agency HCA are working on a daily basis on my wife's ward yet receive 3 times the wage and as they travel long distances to work they receive big travel allowances
  11. Hi Mike yes you need dedicated staff fighting to help the ones that are most dear to you. Doctors, nurses and HCAs that get home and ball their eyes out and back in the next morning because they care. Not staff who are milking the NHS for Four times the rate and clock watch til it's time to pop home much the richer
  12. That's right Geoff keep the scythe going in the right direction and the NHS will have a future.
  13. But Jon you just had your 40th so really it's a present from Sonia so that's ok
  14. Josh it's a Thursday evening I didn't know I had to revise for a test I suppose it's got to be the quickest to tie so a prussic then 2 loops to attach him and your lanyard then down on the prussic. Have I passed ?
  15. Looks like the Government are looking in the right areas in the NHS. Agency staff who get four times the pay for doing diddly squat had better look for alternative employment
  16. Hi Josh if the climbers system is ok then your just gonna attach him to you with 2 prussic loops and your lanyard and then come down using yours and his friction devices
  17. Nah changed his mine he taking his charcoal one instead
  18. Definitely it's for Sunday best:biggrin:
  19. I forgot to say you gonna look a right tart . Seriously it flies with the 18 bar on and it's really balanced enjoy matey:biggrin:
