  4. Hi Mark can you find out a good tip site near me. I got 500 ton of crap to tip (plastic from stripping cable, glass for Ali double glazing and quite a bit of Connie) and ideally open between 1am to 7am
  5. Well one good thing came out of it I've never drank since
  6. The one on the left just told the one on the right he forgot his wallet
  7. How many logs did you get in the back Bob ?
  8. Even though he was from the neighbouring town I never met him. The first I heard of his death was around 10 days ago when my neighbour asked if I knew him. It's very sad and I wish his family all the best
  9. well that's a start. Now if they can find the other couple of Million quids worth we'd all be a little happier
  10. Was that his bicep or the length of the neck on impact
  11. Or an 18 inch bicep
  12. Talk about knock your head off. That came close:blushing:
  13. I am really sorry to hear you have been hit so badly matey. Sadly they classify chainsaws etc as mass produced items and as a result as far as I'm aware all thefts of this nature are classified as petty crime. As such little or no effort is made to investigate. If I was a little low life needing a quick couple of grand in a hurry with very little possibility of getting caught then I know where I would be doing be doing my midnight shopping. Perhaps we should stop paying the Police's portion of our Council tax every year as we are charged for their services yet they do not provivide any service to the Arb Industry
  14. Good point Bumble. My main point I was trying to portray was how the community spirit is changing for the worse. If you see a neighbour struggling you give them a hand and if your looking for a tradesman then you try and give it to someone you know or someone local. That seems not to be the case anymore and I think the world is a little sadder as a result
  15. The culprit maybe down to chainsaws being listed as a mass produced item ( so I was told ) and virtually impossible to trace and as a result only classified as petty crime. As such a very good source of extra income with virtually no risk of prosecution as a deterrent
  16. I have to ask the wife Skyhuck she took the picture Sadly I was out earning a crust after paying for my training, equipment bought from a shop not from a back of a lorry, my insurance and last but not least a tip site that the owner actually wants me to tip there
  17. Whilst taking an Ash down today in Worcester today MRS R took some pics of another professional crew working in my street
  18. Last year the neighbours strange son had a go at a reduction on that tree and for the last 12 months I had look at the poor thing every time I sat having a cig. At least the poor thing is now resting in piece in someone's gateway in a lane not far from here
  19. End of my drive is available Mark. How much did you put on the job?
  20. Now I've learnt something today. We are all chogging down incorrectly. The step or as some may call it miss match cut is so yesterday. The new method is to have your son or groundy stood underneath with arms in the basket position, then you select a nice piece of say 60 to 80 kg and simply cut at an angle of 45 degrees
  21. No you stay there Mark I'll bring you a cuppa out
  22. Hi Stubby yep matey it'll come. I having a right giggle watching. The fat one doing the climbing (ladder work) is wearing his best corduroys and 1970's grounds helmet and the lad on the back of the truck smashing down the brash has got the correct trousers and Nike trainers. Old fatty is now dragging the brash but I think I may need to resuscitate him in a minute as he looks like he's about to have a cardiac arrest
