  1. He says that most are in the 2 to 4 inch range. Head down, crack on and finish the job in a day, easily done. I don't stop mid morning, carry on often till after lunch, it's a case of thinking of other things, mind in neutral, batter on till you feel the need to stop. I'd rather get on with it and get home.
  2. The size of the stumps won't leave that much mess, hardly any in fact. Mixed in with the soil, leveled off, re seeded, easy job. You haven't got the mess of using a digger and the clean up afterwards.
  3. By the time you've hired a grinder, with probably worn teeth, collected it, took it back to the shop, you may as well get someone in. It's a straightforward , easy job, does'nt take that long to grind them out. If you offer to tidy up afterwards it will be cheaper, just get the operator to quote for the actual grinding.
  4. Why is Boris Johnson's dad, Stanley, doing tree work?
  5. First photo is Charlie just after we got him, four months ago. He's found a frog who lives around the saucers I leave out for the hedgehogs and birds. Not a nasty bone in his body. He's come on so much. I have to watch him diving in with the horses that are all round our village fields. To him they're a ready supply of fresh crap to eat. He's a crap eating monster! Any sort of shite he finds. He likes to go in the bushes when we're out when he's picked up the scent of the local wild boar, Christ knows what he'd do if he found one! Second one was taken last week just after being in the woods. Petrified if any gunshots go off, even in the distance, pig shooting is in full swing again. He was 5 metres behind me when a double shot went off, knocked me straight on my back, went straight through me, like being hit by a prop forward. 14 stone was as nothing, up in the air then on my arse.
  6. Of course to both. I still have squaddy values. She'd be fine for Eggs to overwinter with. Wouldn't need an electric blanket with her.
  7. Testicles, Midshipman Johnson.
  8. Done the dinner party one, not to be recommended.
  9. My main email address is a gmail account. The only problems I've had is that it doesn't seem compatible with Hotmail. I've had a couple of customers who haven't replied after repeated emails. I then forward them on via my other email account which works.
  10. No Samantha. It's the reprobates who lurk in the shadows on here. You can almost hear the rustling of dirty macs. Filthy beasts.
  11. Yfronts, tadger photos, Nigerian trans? Jesus Wept! All we need is the phone numbers for the dodgy chat lines.
  12. Sorry boys, but I must be out of step with most of you. I think it informs the general public without being too technical. Most of my clients haven't a clue how stump grinding works to be fair, why would they unless they've seen one in action. Good idea in my opinion.
  13. My mistake, I didn't see that it was someone else mentioning another blokes fat (not) wife. I stand by my original comment about your malicious remark about that lad's son.
  14. I actually told Eggs to find a fat bird to keep him warm in the winter. Get your facts right. I don't comment on other people's families. You post some halfway decent stuff at times but then can't help yourself, your viscous streak comes out. For the record, pal, don't try bullying me, it won't work.
  15. That is really out of order. By all means rip the crap out of the bloke, but leave his family out of it. You're a nasty bastard at times.
  16. He works in the North sea on oil platforms!
  17. He's already commented and been very supportive of females in the workplace. Yes, I know, I was pleasantly surprised!
  18. Bugger, I forgot that. My apologies.
  19. Why have you used my photo without my permission? My lawyer will be in touch.
