  1. Lol, Tony Blair is a toxic brand. He's hardly going to convince people that Brexit is a bad idea. imho Tony has the blood of a lot of people on his hands.
  2. I spent literally weeks looking for a corrugated steel roof supplier. All the places I looked had absolutely ridiculous delivery prices for what I was after (£120 delivery for a £100 order). I then came across metal4U, a mere £20 delivery. I wanted the steel roof as a it should last a good thirty years and then it could be recycled. I'm not really convinced that some of those bitumen corrugated roofs will last the test of time.
  3. Yeah, you tell him Mark! Us British people don't want to hear anything about what is happening in France. As far as we are concerned nothing of interest happens further away than the white cliffs of Dover. You really are a grade A xenophobe.
  4. fair one, I know what it's like to plant something and see it eaten by deer I've read that lion dung keeps deer away as the deer are scared of large carnivores. I understand some zoos sell the dung for this purpose - could be worth a shot.
  5. surely it depends how many days off he has a year? there's a big difference between someone that is off sick once a decade to someone that is taking weeks off at a time. if I was an employer it would p1ss me off if an employee took more than 2 days off sick a year (unless he had known health issues). I used to work beside someone that hadn't taken a day off in twenty years, on my other side there was someone that was off a couple of days a month.
  6. Why an electric fence and not a traditional deer fence? Do you remove the fence after your trees are established?
  7. Because the Koran itself says that non muslims are second class citizens? Traditionally Christians living in muslim lands had to pay a special tax (Yizya) for living in a Muslim country. Because IS themselves have said they attack the West because we don't follow Allah? Because terrorist attacks have constantly attacked Non Muslims? Do you remember the attack on the African shopping centre where Christians were killed and muslims were let go? Tbh, I think 99% of people reading this thread would agree that IS have a policy of targeting non Muslims. When you constantly deny this policy it makes you look as if you don't have a grip on reality... So thanks very much
  8. If they are so badly funded why are they still in existence? The truth of the matter is that they get financial assistance/ weapons/ and volunteers from places like Saudi..... The yanks trained up the Iraqi army for years and gave them top quality weapons. IS overran the Iraqi army in weeks, not bad for a bunch of "headless chickens". The denial on this thread is strong.
  9. Tbh, I'm honestly astounded that you need proof that IS attack Christians and other non Muslims. What do you think would happen to someone wearing a cross that walked through IS territory? Apart from the Yazidi sex slaves do you think there are many non muslims in IS territory?
  10. Dabiq was the magazine produced by Islamic State. They had an article giving the reasons they hated the West. The number 1 reason is "Because you are disbelievers, you reject the oneness of Allah".
  11. ISIS did have a magazine that they published..... ISIS also specifically hate Jews.... Or is that also "claptrap"?
  12. ISIS have a policy of going after non Muslims....
  13. Lol, People are always comparing this time in history to the rise of Nazism. The way I see it is that in 1938 Prime Minister Chamberlain went to Germany and got his peace deal with Hitler. He came back and made his "peace for our time" speech. Events later showed that he had been taken for a mug. I think you lot are being taken for mugs just now. Secular democracy and Islam just don't mix. Sooner or later we will all have to face that reality.....
  14. There are people that hate you and your family and would gladly kill you. Bare that in mind when you post something like that. You think that because you're nice to someone that they will be nice back, the world doesn't work like that.
  15. Really? So Islamic State aren't specifically going after non Muslims? Do you ever watch the news? Is that another example of "fake news"?
  16. Well the fact remains that religious violence all seems to be one way. In the Middle east/ Asia/ Africa etc Christians are routinely persecuted by Muslims etc. In "Christian" Europe it's mostly Muslims attacking Christians. So your viewpoint seems to be wrong. Europeans really have to understand that not everyone wants to hold hands around the camp fire and sing songs.
  17. It's right to be sceptical of experts - I've certainly met some experts that were wrong. However when the experts say something that is corroborated by numerous terrorist attacks is it not time to listen? We've had dozens of terrorist attacks in Europe over the last two years. It seems every month counter terrorism police arrest more "Brits" for terrorism offences. I know people in Europe and they say their police forces are constantly arresting people for terrorism offences. This seems to be a time in history where we have to admit there is a problem and vote accordingly....
  18. So a professor dedicates a large part of his life to studying migrants in the EU, and you think we should ignore his findings because his results were published on the internet? I think everyone here would agree that Europe is seeing a level of violence and sexual assaults that is unprecedented in peace time. We can discuss this topic like adults or we could resort to insulting each other... What do you have to say about 50 million Muslims sanctioning violence? Do you disagree with the professor's findings?
  19. well you are.... you need to lie because your arguments are so bad.....
  20. This is why Trump got elected.... "Prof Koopmans, who is the Director of the Research Unit Migration, Integration, Transnationalisation at the Berlin Social Sciences Centre, said that of the 1 billion adult Muslims in the world, “half of them are attached to an arch-conservative Islam which places little worth on the rights of women, homosexuals, and people of other faiths"." "In an interview with a German news website he claimed that of these 500 million conservative Muslims, at least – and probably more – than 50 million are willing to sanction violence."
  21. I never called you any names.... If I was going to call you a name it would probably be "quisling".
  22. Is that the "fake news" that everyone is talking about? 500 Europeans killed by terrorism in the last two years. It certainly wasn't Christian terrorists behind the attacks.... But you carry with your lies if you think it convinces people.
  23. Brilliant, after the last 50 years of people getting labelled a racist if they were concerned about immigration it's good to have some common sense. Things were looking promising... Sorry, but it's becoming increasingly obvious that some "creeds" don't really belong in the West and cause nothing but trouble. Sweden is now the rape capital of the world (after Lesotho), why is that? What "creeds" were behind the Cologne sexual assaults? What "creeds" are behind most terrorism? IMHO, keeping those "creeds" out is pure unadulterated common sense...
  24. I used my brand new Edwin Jagger DE razor yesterday (thanks for the recommendations). I was very impressed at how it cut my 4 days of growth, it seemed to give a better shave than my normal Gillette Sensor razor and took the same length of time. I never cut myself and it was satisfying hearing the blade cut my stubble Early days and all that, but I don't think I will go back to a normal cartridge razor.
  25. For the last 50 years America has had travel restrictions with Cuba and no one has had hysterical protests. We all know that many people in Syria etc hate America and burn the American flag at every opportunity. I just don't see why people are so against Trump. Why should America accept migrants from places like this?
