No, blew countless motors to pieces, then the bull bar fell off, then the electrics packed up, then the front outriggers fell off, then the electrics packed up, then the rear chassis member fell off then the electrics packed up again. Saw the light and bought jap. Tows a tiny bit less, but hey, it stays dry inside, warm, comfortable, you can shut the door without having to wind window down, quiet so you can actually hear the radio, quicker, more efficent, more reliable, cheaper to run. only bad thing is it doesnt have rovers patent self preservation system, ie it doesnt puke oil out of everywhere to hold back the rust, slightly.
  2. Barrie at garden kit. Thank you for sharing your vast knowledge. Fair play to you. You have obviously been doing this for a while as you are an absolute oracle of information. If i wasnt so far from you i would just bring it down and say here you go, as you sure sound as if you know your stuff. I havent had a tweak yet as been too busy as work but will let you know results.
  3. Cant beat a stick welder with a properly prepped joint. I like to use high dep rods as you can get it in there hotter and faster.
  4. Fit lots of v.orlandi hitches and used to use jbg's but wouldnt recomend jbg for anything other than smooth road use. Welds are getting worse, if drawing says 6mm throat depth and the throat of the weld is 6mm it passes. The fact that it was put in by a moron with a gasless hobby mig is irrelevant. A lot of commercial stuff is welded to a set time and price, not a quality.

  7. Is garden kit in tonight? Remember i asked you about my hayter 12/30, well deck is prepped with black waxoil, new blade and going to check blade levelness. Well i adjusted the throttle cable as we said about the other day, choke works fine now but it seems a bit hesitant when throttle opened. Presumably i need to adjust a screw on carb? Any idea which one as it doesnt really say on the nanual i downloaded. Many thanks
  8. It will run it, just be slow and not as powerful as maybe it could be.
  9. Other pipe possibly trailer tip or a spool slice so less oil. Depends how much pressure you need, how much flow, how big the ram you intend to drive, how much force you intend to exert, how quick a cycle time you expect. Good tractors for what they are, a good 3 cylinder should start first piston up every time no matter how cold without heat. Is that one got a clutch or power shuttle? If clutch, watch for noisy release bearing. Check front axle pivots and king pins as usually under greased and worn out. Avoid older multi power models as its just wrong, -£1000 for multi power.
  10. Total flow to loader is 19 gal/min, flat out!

So, 13 gal/min @ 2500psi or 49ltr/min @ 172 bar
  12. Think its just a 242 ag tractor with a loader. Theyre alright for an old 2wd tractor. Were you going to plumb straight to tractor hydraulics or go pto pump?

  14. Garden kit. Fair play to you. Busy man. Wouldnt it be better to service them before winter storage?
