Hi I had an IH repair 2 years ago. I had 2 weeks off work, and was straight back climbing after that and have had no problems since. That was key hole, I imagine the recovery is longer if they open u up. Hope that's helpful.
  3. A fun job from last week, enjoying the sun shine : ) Tree removed due to colonisation of Honey Fungus and proximity to targets. Please watch in HD
  4. ART recommend a max service life of 5 years. And you should get that.
  5. Hi, have you tried boot dryers, like the ones for ski boot, I find they're great. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Cheers! Looking forward to trying out your Rope Runner when it arrives : ) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Thanks! Look forward to it! I'm using Art Lock Jack with the ropeguide. Worked great for this job, as the oak was very open, and there was a lot of weight in the rope bellow so self tended well! Other benefits of LJ is you can put it on mid line, which is not possible with zig zag or spider jack. Hope that's helpful. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. Thanks, that would have been a serious ID error : ) I thought time spent setting the rigging/ anchor in the oak would be more than saved when moving onto the timber. To avoid moving the block down with each section. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. Thanks, yea can definitely see the benefits of SRT for access and redirects ect, will hopefully be giving it a go soon on jobs that suit. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  15. Hi, just wondering if you are still selling hardwood, I'm after about 25 cubic m's delivered near tiverton devon. If u could on me with a price that would be great, cheers
  16. Am near tiverton in devon, and would need to be delivered. Any advice on companies to use? Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Hi, out of interest are you using a cambium saver? LJ runs a lot smother with one, if u are anchored into a wide work and the rope is coming back to the LJ at an obtuse angle this can lead to it being "jerky" on decent. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Good idea, saves messing around with throw lines ect, I'll give that a go. : ) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  21. Not sure what a "rowdy" foot ascender is I meant left foot : ) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. Hi thanks for advice, I would convert to srt, but the company I work for don't allow us to work from srt, so would only be able to use for access. Most of my work at the moment is v remote, no vehicle access, especially in this weather, so we are carrying all out kit on site, so think lugging a full srt kit and all I need for drt would out weigh any benefits gained. I'll persuade my work mate to get a rowdy foot ascender and we can swop Don't want to end up lop sided : ) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. Hi thanks, was kinda thinking the sj wouldn't work, but was looking for an excuse to buy it at a bargin price, as years left in my lockjack yet : ) Think ill go for the positioner, due to price and how impressed I've been with all Art kit!! Not going to get any love for this but had a cinch b4. And didn't get on with it, unless it a new model? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
