  1. how do the sugihara bars fair against the husky round nosed bars,im currently using a 20" husky rsn bar and its pretty good on my 576xp,had it on a while and there are no burrs, paints still firmly on and generally pretty impressive given that it working hard all day long, whats your thoughts ?
  2. 576 xpg running with 20" rsn husky bar and 73 lpx chain, braw
  3. that's what my saw looks like when its fitted back together, its all the original parts as its not that old,iv ordered another trigger mechanism for it,so will see if that makes a difference, the other one is a little worn but shouldn't have made that much odds I wouldn't have thought
  4. that would be a help,im baffled as to how it isn't working
  5. right enough it is different, have to say im not overly impressed with the saw,im using a 576 just now and its miles better
  6. it is the xtorq version,iv never had any bother in the past with these, only this saw
  7. I know what you mean, but I reckon when I get it all attached it is good to go,both parts of the outer sleeve are secure with the cable moving freely until I fit it on the carb
  8. yip I clipped it into the bit on the trigger,if I hold the end of the cable at the carb end and press the trigger it works great, soon as I fit it,it doesn't,basically i had the tank off it,put it back together and it doesn't want to play anymore
  9. that's what im doing and it only gives me half throttle,i even changed the cable, still the same, stumped
  10. nice one, cheers lads, dont suppose anyone knows the crack with fitting that pesky throttle cable,iv had it apart about 5 times already, everything looks good but when I connect it ,it only gives me half throttle at best,im near done with the pile of junk, nothing but hassle from day one, thank jesus im not relying on it
  11. would a petrol tank from a pre 2012 372(non xtorq)fit the same as the xtorq tank itself,im guessing it might but want to be sure
  12. fr jones are on the case for me
  13. who is the best person to order this from,my dealers useless and will take forever getting it in for me
  14. don't suppose anyone knows what the average battery usage is before they go flat ?
  15. got mine delivered from skyland today, its the dogs bollocks, sitting eating my dinner with it on lol
  16. me likey,how mucho is that ?
  17. plastic wedges are the business when you have to walk 500 metres up a hill you need to use your finger nails to hold you up,not to mention carrying every other piece of kit you need, the lighter the better for me
  18. I feel a wee purchase coming on lol
  19. anyone tried these yet,the red and white ones on chainsawbars website, just wondering if they are any good, usually use the orange stihl ones which are pretty tough over the unpredictable Oregon ones which snap if hit wrong.
  20. my 372 does a strange one, after a fill or so,if you put it down upright it starts no bother,if you leave it on its side it takes more pulls to start it,i have no idea why it does this, not the first saw iv had do this either
  21. think he may be looking for a claim, story doesn't seem to reign true to me
  22. good saw,one thing I noticed is I usually run an 18" bar and chain set up with my 372's but on the xtorq version I had to up it to 20" as I was going through bars a lot quicker than usual
  23. remember the soles falling off my Oregon green boots
  24. had a few pairs, hated it when they were new, felt like a ss officer goose stepping about the place, used to stand in a burn for a bit to get them a bit more plyable lol
  25. ok cheers guys,i will look into it
