  3. For that sort of thickness a arc welder would be a great choice Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
  4. Looks the plug was damaged either when. Someone removed it or been dropped on it. Cheap plugs are awful I have come across them dropping the elctrode. Sent from my LG-H850 using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. I run a Stihl km90 for hedges and limbing the only issues are the plastic retainers for the shafts die quickly plus with a aluminium extension it does bend a little. Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

  7. Managed to get a bargin of second hand cylinder for my 254xp put it all back together to realise crank seals had caused the failure in the first place. Must say theyre a nice easy saw to change them on. Now runs like a trooper Sent from my LG-H850 using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Maybe sheet metal instead of glass painted the same colour as the van and slam locks should keep the thieving scum out of your van. The issue is people will buy stolen goods as their cheap. Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
  9. Crime is on the up imo from opportunists to following company vans and robbing them. The company I work for has probably had more equipment stolen from vans than ever before. Half the issue is not knowing all the staff properly. On the positive note crime of theft from the yard now its very secure is non existent Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
  10. A single piece bar with a loop preferably as when it rolls it will not stay upside down for long plus being made from a single piece of tubeing with bends it would be significantly stronger than a welded style bar. Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
  11. The km131 will be the updated km130 exact same engine just changes to plastics Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
  12. Most traffic officers go by gmw not what it actually weighs so I would be careful if your towing a trailer with gmw over 750kg. This coming from experience as now I have a b+e Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
  13. Im to have a go at cleaning it up I've already got a piston knocking around somewhere. 19. Thanks for the replies with a bit of research I'd need 357 crank to put a 262 cylinder that is not worth it. Now on the hunt for a good 254 cylinder Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
  20. Right my 254 xpg ate some carbon and has done a piston and barrell. Does anyone know what sort of price a genuine one would be ? Is there any after market kits out there that arnt Chinese as all I can find is farmtec ones. Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

  22. Here's the question I have a 254xpg that has done the piston and barrel. I was wondering if its possible and worth changing the cylinder to a 262xp as they are both the same stroke. Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
  23. Does anyone know the rating of their 2 stroke oil ? Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
  24. With chains you normally pay for what you get Oregon chains are cheaper but do dull quicker and seem softer. Stink chains stay sharp and don't loose their edge as easily. Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
  25. Can't beat a old 254xpg its my go to saw mines seen a hard life being a ex forestry commission saw but I cannot fault it. Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
