  1. Hey Steve My last post hasn't appeared, am I being stoopid too.?
  2. A few pics of said Ash with 2/3 crown out ready for winching over, we had a Laburnum in a spot on redirect position and then through side gate to the winch on little Steve's landy.
  3. Hi mate, have you tried Ken Emery of Emery Landscapes based in Matlock.
  4. Well I've had a lovely day today, totally ivy covered Ash tree removal. Started at 11.30 finished at 5 and we're half way through taking out the crown. It's about 80 yrs I recon so a fair bit on it.. Everything to be rigged so it's pretty awkward! Anyone done anything like and struggled like I have been, funny stories welcome :-)
  5. Can you be s bit more specific? "Yes" A hydraulic system is supposed to pressurise "I realise this and is insulting" Is the leakage fluid or is it bubbles and froth "Fluid" It seems to be leaking from the area around the dipstick, when I pull that out it releases pressure. This is not the pressurised side because it's the tank. Though the pump is on the same housing.
  6. Lol, thanks Pete, didn't have the opportunity to ring them today...
  7. Anyone know why the hydraulic oil is pressurising in my greenmech chipper? It's leaking out around the filler? Cheers
  8. Get the bits I'll do it fo thee .. If your not in a big hurry !
  9. It's only new barrel and piston kit ed, if it's stripped down it's nearly done!!
  10. Yep your probably right, there were none around for the money I had spare when setting up, so went with the L200 which hasn't done bad really just spent a bit on it recently. Still not right, it surges under load like your lifting the throttle on and off? Might try the throttle position sensor then that's it, no more gets thrown at it!!!
  11. They do sound sweet those straight sixes!!!
  12. Which part of 7 :-))
  13. All good mate, apart from the first tie offs are upside down.. :-)
  14. The engineering side doesn't phase me, just wondered if anyone had done one.
  15. Hi jon, I know them well as we had a couple on the fencing job. Which is why I know they're the best out there. Cheers
  16. Would love to have the spare cash to keep the L200 I've got going whilst building the cruiser........
  17. Anyone thought about taking a grinder to one of these to make a tipper out of it?? Just a thought.....
  18. Oh so I'm not worth the expense then??!!! ;-)
