Lol I have explains this option as a last resort and they're not keen on the aesthetics of pollarded trees. So it's a tricky one.

Hello, I've been asked advice on how best to reduce a 70' sycamore in a back garden. It's completely outgrown it's surrounding and has been heavily thinned in the past by another tree surgeon. As the crown is a very symmetrical natural shape and now with no growth points apart from the outer foliage, to reduce in affect would be to pollard? I have obviously explained this and have advised to either live with it, pollard? Or remove and replant. What would you guys advise Any advice given is appreciated PC

Three pops to do today, all 90' or so. Topped and dropped the first, rigged down the weighted side then felled, the last one wasn't safe to climb so winched that over as well, back tomorrow to chip and ring that one. Good day.

Drift 1080 hd is what I use and I think reg c likes them too. Good balance as it is low profile unlike gopro. Just my view..

As above leaking from under where oil adjust screw is, Is it a known fault? I've not stripped it down yet.... Cheers folks

Having seen these last pick I concure prunus for sure, this isn't the same tree as the first pic though is it?
