No it's defiantly a muffled knock not a ting, I know the noise you mean and it's not that. So I am still convinced its an engine knock.

Thanks for that spudy, I thought it was bottom end, but since you mentioned piston slap it does resemble the noise subarus used to make! And it is on tick over when it happens. I'll speak to them asap

Prob done four tanks 3/4 throttle I look after my gear and did nearly 5 years as mechanic, so under stand engine noises etc but not so much the 2 strokes...

Hi all, I brought one of these (365 xt) When it's in use and hot there's a bottom end knock. Anyone come across this ? Cheers Paul

Yeah it's that type of boot, mine are the same, my Meindl saw boots and Meindl Perfekt stitched sole mountain boots are great. Oh and my Meindl Burmas... ;-)

2nd hand 346xp(if u can find one) Never had a problem with mine, light with good grunt on 15"

This is mine,, cost me £150 for the chip box and ram etc. then just mine and father in laws time to fit. Bargin. Not ideal with it being a double cab but never looked back.
