  1. hi there, Ive found that the skylotec 2d harness is the most comfortable and robust harness ive come across. Im in it most of the time and it doesnt hurt me at all. great legs supports and overall confort is brilliant. Have a look at that one. As the tree motion has a great write up after looking at it it seems flimsee and not much to it. Doesnt look like it would last a year in our trade.
  2. Hi, There's 2 farms near the BT building up martlesham who take it, or you can try the allotments near where the old fire station was up near the cemetery. Thats where we take it.
  3. If you really want a job then you will do what it takes, that means not taking no for an answer. I was unemployed for a while before I found tree surgery and after calling every tree surgery company around and being told they have no work for me I had enough of being cut short so I went down to one of the companies offices, and waited till the boss was back in the yard and told him who i was and that i want to work for him by volunteering. He couldnt say no to free labour and after 2 weeks he started paying me and got me on the books. People now adays dont want to work for free they cant see the bigger picture, they just want things handed to them on a plate i.e free money from job seekers. it annoys me so much. People without a job shouldnt rely on other people they should get off there arse and do what it takes to make you stand out from the rest. I can now see the rewards from the hard work IVE put in and from the 4500 I had to borrow to get my level 3 deploma. Wish some people in this country would wake up. That is all
  4. Turn up early is always a big thing and ask about the job before you get there so you will no what tools to get ready always try and be one step ahead with getting things ready and never stand still like a tea pot always try and be doing something whether its raking or getting the saws filled up and ready, to making sure that the chip is kept pushed up to the back of the motor. You can nether ask too many questions (why, when and how) always be happy as no- one likes a grump. Im always asking questions that way im building my knowledge up all the time. When i started the first thing I bought was an Tree ID book. hope all these brilliant coments help as they have giving me advice aswell. good luck mate your gonna love it.
  5. Turning mainly I did a site clearance months ago and it was full of hawthorne a farmer coe past and took the lot as he said he carves things from it.
