    Am I right in thinking that your getting the (0.75x0.75) as that is half of 1.5m. So I take it the calculation for a 2m wide log would be (1x1) am I on the right track?

    Ok I think I've got it lets just say for this I have a log 1.5m diameter x 4m long. What do you work the total m3 of that log is?

    Hi There As above which do you find is the best way / calculation of working out the cubic meterage of a round log as it is from a buyers point if view.

    Yes that's right. A lot of people who buy them are hobbyist making things like stools coffee tables etc. but we did sell 2 pallets yesterday to a chap for firewood.

    We are in Haverfordwest. Pembrokeshire. Can send a pallet to most of the uk for £45. Can get 2 bags on a pallet.

    Bags are priced on website. The pallets we put on ebay bids and get between £250 to £450 per pallet depending on the size. The pallet in the picture is as big as we can send. UK delivery available. It seems such a waste to go as firewood as the length are all around 3 ft but we get so much we have to shift it.

    New to the firewood market so any help or advice would be appreciated Through the day to day running of our business we get a lot of oak beam off cuts which we have been selling as firewood for years. To speed up production we have just put in a firewood processing plant and are now looking for more timber to build up this side of the business. I'm looking for round logs (not sure what the correct term is fit it) softwood and hard wood delivered to Pembrokeshire west Wales. Can anyone tell me where I can get this from or what I need to be asking for, and what price I should be paying. Thanks Celtic Timber
