  6. Evening arbtalk..batesen 3500kg railer on ebay.. .Does anyone have a similar trailer? Or recommend a better option? Is it worth the money they are asking? Any feed back would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  13. I used to drive from northeast to Plymouth almost every weekend mate when I was still in. I can sympathise. But it's always good when you land..have a good time mate. If I don't speak to you have a great break..cheers.. trooper
  14. Speed line..zip line same thing to me..ha. it will only be brash and small limbs that i will be sending down the speed (zip) line..all the bigger stuff will be done by topping strop. I will get some pics. Hopefully the weather stays good. Cheers.
  15. Yeah as we know its not a five minute job getting big saw back sharp ha! Also Clove hitch, timber hitch can get trapped under big lumps of timber so groundsman struggle to un- do. If it works mate for you and ground staff spot on efficiency is the game. I'm section felling 4x sycamore on monday i will be setting up using a controlled zip. I reckon the backbone can be incorporated into that set up..cheers
  16. Always the same its a lottery hitting metal. Washing lines barb wire etc yeah pain in the rear end. At least it stayed dry for the bulk of work..love doing big rigging like that..mint..fare play.

  23. I know mate..your not like that.. works thin on the ground at present plus I'm getting bored need something to go at. Ive been ropped in to putting the xmas decoration so they are going up today. Getting real tree this year..
