  1. Maybe another option would be to use a Husqvarna 525D out front mower but use a flail attachment. Go on youtube to check it out. If anyone on here that has already used this machine then a bit of feed back would be appreciated. Cheers trooper
  2. I can remember the old skool harnesses with no leg loops to. Even when we used to splice our own climbing ropes. Old days back in the early 90s.
  3. Football is not my game. Rugby is the way forward. Anyway that football freak has got the right teeth for the job.

  7. Afternoon, I will be section felling a large ash tree in a rear garden this coming weekend and the client is asking if I know anyone who could do a sculpture of some kind with the standing stem that I will leave to an arranged height. the stem is straight with no lower limbs to its structure so would be a good project for the right person to sculpt. If anyone is interest, or knows someone who they could recommend please pm me. The site is in Middlesbrough, northeast of England. thanks for your help regards Trooper harry.

  12. Northeast mate.
  13. Hard to say really without seeing it. Most stems will hold its quiet surprising. If you section fell by rigging it, I would do it in reasonably small section to stop stress on the weakness of the stems. Same old if I seen it I could help more, I want to come do it for you now.. hope you get sorted bud.
  14. Hi mate I would anchor into right stem with filp line on stems that you remove. I would start with the one on far letf and lower off middle one then use topping strop for middle to finish job. However by the picture I would section fell the whole tree for peace of mind. But im only going of the picture it may dictate different if I was on site or I seen it initially. Best of luck mate stay safe.
  15. fair play silky. I'm sure work will come your way soon.. with that kind of enthusiasm and work ethic. There are a number of people out there getting good contracts who don't fulfil the work specifications that's required by the client and recent surveys just lying there way through contracts and reaping the money and they don't have that type of attitude to work, its just a game and driven by money to them. Not like the true arborists like the majority. what goes around comes around to those if the hat fits. keep up the hard work silky as the year matures so will the work. Best of luck.
