How many acres do you need spraying? I have a team due up to Birmingham (we are based in Essex) with our quad sprayer to treat a small ish parcel that's been tagged onto the back of one of our local contracts :-/ we could possibly do yours on the same day? I use invoice2go on the iPad and iPhone and it's bloody brilliant. Cost me £6.99 on the App Store and that's it. Perfect as I can get customers invoiced / quoted on the move without having to be in the office. I believe they have versions for other platforms apart from apple. I have a mixed review... I've been on ratedpeople for just over a year now, and I mean properly on ratedpeople - I get customers to leave reviews etc and maintain a 5 star listing as with all of these things you only get out what you put in! Work will never just land in our laps! In the beginning ratedpeople was very good for my business, we picked up several good contracts that we still have now running into over 30k per annum. We also had various landscape build jobs through the summer last year and it was a nice 'top up' from our regular word of mouth customers. Tree work has NEVER worked on ratedpeople. Landscape and gardening yes, but not the trees. Unfortunately now ratedpeople have changed the way they charge you for their leads, this now means that there is no way of refunding a dodgy lead (of which there were always a few!) and this gave me the confidence to buy several as I always had that backup. Now the leads are cheaper and no quarterly fee but without that backup of the refund my usage has dropped significantly. Don't think I've bought a lead in the last month, whereas this time last year I would have bought 20. It really is a shame IMO that ratedpeople have made these changes as they genuinely had a good model there before which genuinely worked for my business. Oh well... I've had a honda 400 foreman for the last 2 years, use it for spraying, fencing, harrowing, mowing, towing, feeding the horses - gets used 7 days a week and has been a great workhorse. I've found as long as you look after it (same as any tool!) it just goes on and on! Can pick the 400 foreman up for £1500 easily. Hi guys, I run a small tree and landscape management company and I'm currently using Invoice2go via my iPhone and iPad for all of my invoicing and quotations. I find it pretty useful as because it's on my iPhone I can invoice directly (via email) customers when out and about. I do find it a little restrictive and often end up inputting details twice between the iPhone and my office PC. My question is what invoicing / quotation software are you using, does it have the option of a mobile app and is there something on the market that encompasses an accounting element too?
