  10. I find it so bloody annoying that these so called "chainsaw shops" rip people off! I bet it took you 20mins to fix.
  11. Yes but some people have moral standards and don´t want to see people ripped off. Let alone killed.

    Stihl ms261

The 260/261s in college are awful, only good saw we have is the Husky346. I would look at the Husky 550xp.
  13. Firstly there is nothing wrong with old Huskys!! But I would be ashamed to have given you that saw in its filthy state to work on! A wipe with a rag costs nothing and takes 2 mins!
  14. Yes there is a little score but it does not seem to go down to the opening. Is it not worth it then?

  18. Have a look on flebay Windsor 18? 58AG064 Chainsaw Chain 64D/Links .058/1.5mm 3/8? Pitch | eBay Paul
  19. Hi Steve, I think I have found the problem. The part you arrowed was just gunk where I wiped the cylinder. the real problem is a groove in the cylinder and on the piston. Did not notice this as I was focused on the general grooves near the outlet port. What is the best next? Buy a chinese cylinder and piston? Maybe change the piston for a Meteor? Cheers Paul
  20. Ta! The plug was quite pale, but i thought it was because of low compression. Will strip it today and have a look. Will try to get some pics as well. Paul
