    Tree ID?

An easy one for you all here....
  2. Looking to upgrade our pedestrian mower, looking for a combination mulcher / collector. Was looking at a toro or stiga, but was in jones's the other day and they recommended the Rover mower, Anybody had any experiences with these?
  3. Think is to do with the subsidy payments and compliance with their rules specifically for farms, so would probably apply to conifers as well as I believe is for protection of birds/ wildlife etc, rather than the trees : hedges themselves. Has been in force for quite a few years, although they have just changed the dates
  4. Def 550 for snedding, great power to weight! It's got the rev boost / x torq or whatever they call it that picks the revs up much quicker
  5. Improved reliability, more gears, more power, very fast for the size and weight of the vehicle. Just a lot of money!!
  6. Wouldn't be without one, one of the only vehicles to get a good 6 foot of secure storage in the rear with the seats down. (As all 5 rear seats fold completely flat) Rear side doors so can access what's in the front of the back. No strimmers / hedge cutters hanging out the back not locked in. Tows everything well. Problems not as bad as some say if you keep on top of the maintenance
  7. Have some pine cord, well some rings and some cord up to 3ft in length. Diameters of 4" up to max 20". Canterbury area, can deliver for agreed price. Need gone ASAP if anyone interested as yard too full!
  8. Looking at ropes for a chap that does a little bit of climbing for me. Wants a 13mm really. Will be using Prussik / blakes / trying to convert him to hitch climber Any recommendations? Marlow gecko? NE Hi vee? Yale Xtc? Cheers
  9. I had a great one stolen in October, something I'm not going to be able to replace!
  10. Sounds like a reasonably simple fix, understandably annoying but surely quicker than waiting for another machine to be ordered. How serious were the other defects?
  11. Yes, blow up behind every hedge I flail! Cleaner than when we got there

    2014 550 xpg

    550, great power to weight!
  14. Sorry to hear this. Will keep a look out, was hoping a forst would be less desirable to thieves due to still being fairly unique. Bugger.
  15. We have a few loads of mixed sycamore / conifer wood available Thursday / Friday, if anybody locally has such a desire as to make use of it before it gets dumped...! PM for more information
  16. Have a look at the uni forest titanium 20. Good solid bit of kit with fast cycle, PTO run
  17. Thumbs up from here as well! Good to watch!
  18. The glass in the rear window has the extended section on the opposite side to the older versions, meaning reversing visibility is worse on the newer ones. (Now on the off side) Designed for the left hand drive market now! Very noticeable when reversing low trailers looking out the rear window!
  19. Which spec / derivative did you go for?
  20. Definitely the way forward. Can't beat them for towing and security, Power, ride comfort and space. Everything in their favour apart from the price tag. I think they have even improved the reliability!
  21. Looking for a freelance climber for a few days at the end of the month for some takedowns, and a reduction. Good rates of pay and working conditions! Must have own climbing kit and PPE but saws can be provided. Please PM or call me, Ben on 07814379639 Thanks in advance
  22. Silky fell off top of step ladder as I moved it...
  23. Large quantities of claret!
