These things are amongst the crappiest tools I've ever used, try using the screwdriver, put a bit of pressure on it and it folds back in , usually taking a bit of skin off your fingers! Yes, use it if you're desperate, otherwise, bin it. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

Yup. " in the name of religion", nutters user it as a reason! The real reason is they are nutters. If you could wipe out all forms of religion tomorrow, you'd still have the nutters who'd find another cause to try and justify their behaviour. As the great Jock Stein said" it's not religion that's the problem, it's the lack of religion" Obviously he was talking about sectarianism, which is carried out by nutters. Yep, it's a personal thing j, large overhang on the house I'm talking about, I assume the timber will suffer most from sun/ heat? Water not so much an issue, more air moisture content? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk -

I'm working on a mates house that is clad with larch, in between working there we also done an extension that had larch cladding, but the cladding was on top of block work, which seemed sensible to me, how long will 22mm boards withstand our buffeting shite weather, I remain unconvinced ATM. Also, it looks nice when installed, then turns a crappy grey, worn out looking colour in a matter of months. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk -
