  1. Aye, probably pretty much what OUR previous generation/s said about us.
  2. Someone told me that statistically we are more likely to have a white Easter than a white Christmas up here.
  3. Yup, pretty grim really, ewes are pretty lean, a hard winter, little milk on them.☹️
  4. It’ll probably make him more popular than ever[emoji849] No such thing as bad publicity.... and all that pish.
  5. Probably hasn’t seen anymore evidence, just doing it because he can....and it might be seen to distance him from any Russian interference in the past.
  6. .....nor a political one, but when did that stop us[emoji1] Farmer basher??
  7. You don’t consider the 6th of April to be in “ the growing season”? Although this year it appears it is not part of the growing season after weeks/months of bitter easterly wind. I’ll give you a shout about November time and ask you for some advice about when to put the tup out and when the grass is likely to start growing here in the spring of 2019. The “natural” cycle of my ewes would start in October time probably, the tup usually goes in mid to late November, I see that as retarding rather than advancing. Have a good day my farmer bashing friend[emoji106].
  8. Yes! Wet, windy and bloody freezing, absolutely no sign of spring whatsoever☹️ Not a single blade of monoculture grass growing anywhere, lambs due to start today, grass=milk, no grass=..... well, you get the picture☹️.
  9. This is why nobody likes you Kev!?
  10. I’d rather you spoke your mind ?
  11. I’ve no doubt about that, the truth.
  12. “We” are nothing( non religious) A purpose?? I am I said.
  13. That’s s real “wake up” moment mark[emoji849]
  14. Surely the change is in “never” reverting? People change! Constantly!
  15. I’ve no experience.. but I think that might be bollocks mr egg, I think you might think that too?
  16. Sorry Mr idiot, I was briefly contemplating a world without religion, brief and pointless[emoji38]
  17. I sometimes wonder why, for the vast majority it’s a very brief (in the grand scheme of things) existence, a good few make to their ninties, some don’t make nine or less!! I can only assume that life is not that great a thing.
  18. Detested him when I was young, he was a cocky prick, but pretty good with the arrows, now John Lowe came across as a gent! Is he still with us?
  19. It certainly wasn’t challenging! The guy was thick as pig shit. Tommy won an argument with a thicko[emoji106]
  20. Refuelling at the end of the day sounds good practice, whether it’s a saw or a tractor etc, lessens the opportunity for condensation in tank and if you spill all over yourself, you’re goin home anyway!
  21. Just watching QT, we are very shit scared of Russia, but of course we are talking plenty bluster! Putin is dangling Theresa like a puppet, pulling all the strings, she’s screeching like a buffoon with her big threats[emoji849], it’s all very embarrassing, but what else can our little country do?
  22. Thought I’d try to lighten the mood...
  23. Doing building work I set my own prices, farmers take what they are given to produce food, sometimes that’s more than they deserve.. like banking, supermarkets, and so on...... How do you have so much time on your hands for this nonsense matelot?
