  1. Agreed with you there, I tried reporting various other saws to ebay all the fake ones but never seems to do any good, feel sorry for who ever buys it, but then again it may be genuine....... highly unlikely, but a possibility
  2. No feedback, delivery only.......... will take 20 days, why are people bidding on it ??
  3. Been given an 046 to have a look over the chap I work for on occasion said it just died one day and got chucked in the shed, anyway had a look over removed the muffler and the piston is knackered and the rings were stuck in the Grooves, he said to me don't worry about spending on it if it needs anything..... Thing is he won't mind if I tart it up to use myself cylinder is in good nick what are thoughts about putting one of these pistons in?
  4. Will do mate my dealer will give me some funny looks if I have to ask for another muffler anytime soon

  7. Cheers guys will have a play tomorrow, spud do you have any pictures of a muffler mod on the 020/200t? Just a 13mm hole isn't it?
  8. Thanks morten I understand if I richen the mix it will slow the motor down, is it just a case of a good balance between the LA and low mix screw? Cheers again bud
  9. Right just finished putting my newly acquired 020t back together amongst other shiny new bits (not motor related) I fitted a new carb kit and muffler, set the screws to factory settings but even after fiddling it will idle spot on but not pick up quickly. any ideas guys?

  12. Hi gents, just got given an 020t as a present by a chap I work for on occasion, the saw needs a bit of tlc but I'm happy none the less, basically I'm going to ask if anyone has any parts laying about? Once again in need of a muffler and front anti vibe mount if anyone can help? Obviously not for free though Thanks in advance guys Tim
  13. I know what you mean about not having to jam them into the wood, the only spikes I used before these were very uncomfortable and hard work to get good grip, as soon as I got back with my new gear, had a quick play on a pole in the garden so comfy and effortless to use any reason why they say not to sharpen them in the booklet that came with them ?
  14. Fair enough, I havent been climbing long hence why I asked for advice.
  15. Hi all, just got my first set of spikes just a query as to sharpening them I have been looking into maintenance as for me they were a big investment. The instructions stated that you should not sharpen the gaffs if they became blunt? Any particular reason why? Or will I be stuck with the fact that I will just have to buy replacement gaffs when they become dull? Thanks in advance Lakeyboy

  18. More questions haha. This time a little project in the shape of an early 024 i dug out of my bosses shed. I have a few 026 bits at home so basically wondered if the carb from the 26 would fit in ? If i was to swap the top cover of the carb to allow space. Also have a muffler that i was thinking of gutting out to go with it should give it a bit more poke ?
