  1. I generally set them so you can twist around 90 degree's
  2. Bad luck but atleast your back chipping now! Re feed roller issue I'd pull off the motor and check the splines out, if they look ok then double check if the motors are the same, if so swap the motors over and see if the problem moves to the bottom feed roller. Chances are if the motor Is at fault it'll be leaking internally and maybe able to get it repaired my a hydraulics company. On a later GM I worked on recently we had a feed roller problem and it turned out to be over greased! The grease couldn't escape and made the feed roller hard to turn! We enlarged the grease channel and perfect. I'm not saying that's your problem here but check your basic stuff before spending £
  3. I know of a second hand Cs100 at chipper dealer for sale. Arb 130 is an awesome bit of kit for the entry road tow hydraulic market. However RRP is £10,900 but if you have enough work to justify one it's well worth it.
  4. Nice to meet you today Tim.
  5. I'm afraid it involves part exchanging and buying a GreenMech. Sadly it's the only way to overcome your stress control problem..... Hehe
  6. Re disc blades. 150 hours between sharpening on each blade. 2 additional sets with the machine so what's not to like?! Have you actually used disc blades? GM sharpen them for peanuts too! Can drop them into your local dealer to sort out or post direct.
  7. Get the both on demo! If you order a GM delivery will be 14 weeks unless there is dealer stock. Look at my feedback I've listed earlier in the thread.
  8. Are you in Frome?! Can drop an 18hp CS100 in for a demo no bother.
  9. TW240... 15 litre fuel tank (to get weight down) Only 4 lock out points on turntable Very high machine, feedback is that small material falls back out the infeed due to being angled downwards to get working height correct. Exhaust doesn't exit through discharge chute Discharge chute doesn't fold down The above is feedback from TimberWolf users that have changed to GreenMech and had TW240 and QC160 demos back to back
  10. I Could be interested in sponsoring?!
  11. And what diesel British engine would you fit over the pretty much industry standard Kubota diesel lump. Fit another lesser known brand and straight away you loose sales because of the spec on paper.
  12. Was about to say, there not expensive for genuine!
  13. I live in Devizes, Will keep my ears out for you.
  14. I have an Arborist 150 26hp which has done 150 hours. GM warranty, serviced etc and a nice saving from RRP to be had.
  15. only has a 15 litre fuel tank though? I assume due to weight and the exhaust doesn't exit with the chip?
  16. Ill be there. Am going with a Colleague and taking a couple of customers up.
  17. and to wet the appetite the demo unit we are bringing to chipper wallah on Thursday morning.
  18. Have you bought now? - was it the TP with 3 years warranty the TP is only 3 year parts warranty... and excludes serviceable items naturally. GM is 2 years full parts and labour.
  19. You'll miss it and it'll be on site when your "in the ****" is when. What's your reasons for wanting a TW tracked? is it cheap?
  20. Buy a GreenMech Matty! haha Planning and reviewing how I could of worked more efficient is what helps me. l don't have any free mornings or afternoon's this week because I'm either demonstrating or delivering new equipment, but the phone still rings, paperwork still needs doing and customers want to see products and a sale can easily be lost if money is burning a hole or working to far in advance. I always go by the motto being busy is a nice problem to have. Id sure be more stressed and worried if I was looking at my diary and there was nothing booked in or planned for the forthcoming weeks.
  21. Sorry yes I didn't make it over clear, my above post reads more of Arb 150 v QC but was just giving a couple of features of each unit rather than a comparison between the two. Regarding engine rpm the QC and Arb both run lower rpm than some of the other grounds machinery stuff we sell/competitors chippers that is Kubota powered but correct the pulley size is different to achieve a higher rotor speed of 2400 over the Arb 150 of 1700. For example a TW150 with a Kubota V1505 runs at 2800 rpm and the GM runs at -2000rpm
  22. If working on roadside etc as said you can really find the turntable is fantastic and a huge safety feature. discharge chute swings down and has a receiver point which can be handy if wanting to store in a garage. Rear tanks can be swung out if needed to get into the machine further and all the panels are removable to gain service access. Maybe get the Arb 150 and QC out at the same time from your dealer. One thing I do like on the Arb 150 is the constant belt tension using the engine and dampened to stop any kick/belt slap on startup is pretty trick. The Arb150 also runs at slightly lower revs because of the fan adds to the discharge flow (around 1850rpm) which is bang on peak torque helping the flywheel to keep spinning plus revving the engine less is good for its life and fuel consumption. The fan also helps suck the hot oar out of the engine keeping bonnet temperatures down. - one happy kubota engine!
