  11. Airstreams getting a few thumbs up there. Chris Sheppard--cant believe that the pfanner tyrol fighters aint waterproof. At that price ide want em to slip 'emselves onto my feet and tie their own bleedin laces!!!

  14. cheers.....no blockage in fuel lines and filter is free to drop into the lowest point in the tank
  15. i have a robin hs250 hedge trimmer with a wee problem. when flat it starts and runs like a champ but when the blades are elevated, vertically above the engine when cutting the face of a hedge the engine runs down to a halt. it then takes a good few tugs on the starter cord to fire up again. Can anybody offer a spot of advice on how i can try and sort it before the expense of taking it to be repaired.........thanks in advance guys.......chris. If all hedges were flat and horizontal ide be laughing
  16. when heat treating the blade, as it becomes cherry red the steel will lose its magnetism just at the critical temp at which you need to quench it. old sump oil is v good imo as it has a high carbon content, some of which is absorbed by the steel as it is quenched.
  17. Galaxy s4. Beast of a phone. Leave it on the deck with yr flask n butties tho cos it will defo crack the screen when its in yr pocket between thigh and harness!!!!!!!! ****!!!!!!
  18. Noooo, wont be dropping the new toy on its strop.............Not for the first few tankfulls anyway haha
  19. Me too, im going to my local dealer next week to buy one (and a 560xp), based on having used one a bit recently (and 200t+201t) plus the words of wisdom of the folks on here. Is there any other little niggles I/we should be aware of?
  20. i did my cs38 and 39 with a 62 year old fella. he was amazing, if im like him at 62 (39 now) ill know ive been doing something right all those years
  21. No its definitely legit if it runs maybe I should offer him a bit more.
  22. Well.....just very kindly been offered a 5 yr old 200t by a mates uncle for £100. says it started and ran well last time he used it (3yrs ago). Was never used in a tree he bought it cos he thought it was a nice little saw to cut his logs in the garden. Well worth the punt i reckon and if it looks like turning into a money pit ill get most of the 100 bills back by flogging it for spares......then get a t540.
  23. So as the 200t vs t540 debate rumbles on i thought ide throw this in the mix. What would you go for??....... Used 200t from ebay for about £380. Seller says its a good starter/runner, been serviced etc.........or....... New t540 from FR Jones for £525
  24. Purple Aki.....he just wanted to watch me climb trees......and feel me arms haha
