  1. Call out from this morning. An Oak failure in West Hill had fallen across a summer house and onto the garage. We cut 3 metre clearance to the garage so it could be made water tight. The rest of the tree is to be removed ASAP.
  2. http://duffylondon.com/product/tables/woodsman-axe-table/ Awesome looking, not cheap though
  3. So a Knut bites well and tends well? I think my VT tying skills may be off as I find I need to be constantly visual that it's bit. I've seen a lot of guys mentioning the flattening and when I climbed single this week I was reminded of that, I definitely noticed a flattening of Cougar Blue, almost resembling an oval shape
  4. I've got my own setup on the way after using the boss's kit for a while. 60m of Cougar Blue and some Armor Pruss. Unashamedly excited! I've noticed a lot of guys seem to climb on a Knut, why choose this over a VT?
  5. Cheers Ian. Finished the last of it today, spent a couple days up and down the rock. I didn't see the face until you mentioned it.
  6. Something a little different this week. Been at Killerton house for a few days felling anything growing out of the rock face as it's to used for a climbing wall. Really fun job, I climbed SRT to make use of multiple redirects to keep my line off any rock surface.
  7. How about something like these? Image isn't me but something I came across whilst looking for reference for gap fillers on my legs.
  8. That's the one. Cool tree. Thanks man.
  9. I pruned a Magnolia for a friend yesterday and whilst looking around the read gardens I noticed something I didn't recognise. The bark looked similar to a Tibetan Cherry only green? The form was not dissimilar. Here is a leaf
  10. Pruned this Magnolia for a friend today. Mostly ladders and secateur work but I enjoyed it and I'm pleased with the result.
  11. Ha, already there. The customer was quite fond of them.
  12. Exactly my thoughts. I'm of with the content but the format has been making my head swim!
  13. Planted a little hedge of Griselinia after ripping and grinding out the old hedge a month or so back. Really enjoyed this, very satisfying.
  14. I've had a little contact with them this week due to my harassment. All my stuff is online now. I think you just need to get on their case a little?
  15. No reply as yet to my email but I have phoned them. No body seemed to know what was going on or could help. I was left with a "Leave it with me". Is anybody doing the course through Myerscough and has received anything?
  16. I've followed those steps and nothing, completely empty!
  17. I've sent a stinking email but I'm going to phone them today to see if I can get any answers. I'll post the outcome later.
  18. The saving grace is that I paid the tuition fees with a Barclaycard so I have purchase protection if this really fluffs up
  19. Nothing on either. If I click on 'My Course' it says it cannot find my course! I have a copy of the invoice
  20. They've been slack from start to finish. Not promising.
  21. Anyone on here enrolled onto the ABC RFS Certificate Arboriculture On-Line? My start date is today but I've heard nothing and received through their web pages.
  22. Awesome day today. The sun was shining in Devon and we dismantled this Thuja. Behind the tree was a barn to the left and a enclosed garden to the right. Everything was pulled into the field using a Telehandler. Daniel Scott. East Devon Tree Care.
