  1. As the title suggests I am looking to hire a processor with operator! I can provide additional help. Essentially I have to move yard as my current landlord has decided to bang the rent up 400%!! So he can do one!! As soon as I have found a new yard I want to process everything thats in the old yard straight into a bulk tipper and take to the new yard where I can sort it at my leisure!! I reckon on having 50/75tonne maybe more of processor sized stuff the rest is rings or bigger butts! Any takers or suggestions??

  5. Had my second wrist/hand operated on today to release my carpel tunnel, throbs abit now but the whisky seems to be helping:thumbup: Just wondered if anyone else has had carpel tunnel issues and surgery??
  6. That was the one, I'd asked him about the back as I could see the rust stains and he said it was just a bare metal bed thats why it had surface rust!!!
  7. I had given him a deposit via paypal which he refused to return unless I cancelled the transaction, hence no negative feedback!!but I got my deposit back!
  8. Havent got the pictures of the original one now I deleted them all when I eventually got home!!! rest assured though it looked clean and tidy and I asked him all about it as I was travelling so far and didn't want to leave anything to chance!!

  10. As some of you are aware due to my other thread I was in the market for a new truck and had found a Canter that I planned on purchasing! Well I got completely screwed by this one!! After asking all the right questions and viewing pictures of a nice looking one owner, low mileage mechanically sound Canter I agreed the price, then flew from Bristol to Glasgow then 20 mile car journey to collect. On arriving was shown a Canter that was not the one in the pictures I'd viewed and based my buying decision on! When asked where the one I'd seen the pictures of was I was told it was sold but this one had the same mileage and was the same year!! Unfortunately this one also had a completely rusted rear bed, seriously pitted tipper ram, plastic trim missing or held on with cable ties, no passenger seat and shagged interior! All the rear cross members and angles were totally rotten and it had numerous holes in the bed!! I pointed this out and was told they hadn't really looked at the rear end!! After lossing my rag and effing and jeffing abit(ok alot) I went back to the airport, couldn't get a reasonably priced flight so had to hire a car to get home!! Total cost.....£198 and a wasted day!!! The truck has now been listed on Ebay so dont buy it unless youre prepared to put a complete new rear on it along with a new interior!!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281371509038?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649

  14. Hmmm interesting, I had been wondering about parts etc, my friends Iveco needed a new rear axle last year and that was a good 3-3.5k gone!! Can you remember what sort of mileage yours had done??
  15. I run a stihl which is ok, have used a recent husky(I'm husky through and through on the ground) wont bother again up a tree! I had a good chat with the Echo guy at the ARBSHOW and played with the saw, there has been loads of design put into the balance and comfort in the hand and it feels really nice and comfortable to use, and it has a traditional Carb all be it modernised but still has a high and low screw that I can adjust!!!! I will be trying the Echo when next buying any saw I was impressed!
  16. I think thats a resounding YES from ARBTALKERS then.......my mind is made up and my reservations settled!! I think I'll be investing!! Thanks
  17. Cheers for the response, what do they look like when fully loaded? How do they hold the weight? My mates Iveco will carry loads and loads but it shows yet another friends iveco doesnt seem to get any lower regardless of how much you put on it!! Looks like I should be buying it though I thought they'd be worse on the fuel your figures equate to a rough 35 to the gallon!!
  18. I'm on the verge of buying a low mileage one owner 3..5tonne doublecab Mitsubishi Canter and thought I'd ask for opinions good or bad?? And whats the mpg like?? Thanks in advance:thumbup:
