  4. You are correct it's made from technora which is the same product as armor prus which is fantastic hitch cord. Stein's version is blue with a black fleck in it.
  5. I drive a 60 plate 3.5 ton canter for a company in Newcastle and its immense! 150bhp, will still fly with a full load on, turns on a sixpence, ample cab space, pulls a timber wolf 190 like its not even there and carries far more weight than it should, downside is its really bouncy, which can be adjusted, really bad economy but otherwise great!
  6. As you're in Durham id say try Olivers, theyre based in Witton Gilbert. David Oliver is a really good man and they're a well established firm, Arb approved too! regards
  7. I would challenge anyone to do a better job that that! Spot on work lads!
  8. Meindl airstreams...awesome boots, only boots ever to last me over 2 years of hard work and constant climbing!
  9. I did mine last month, and my assessor was being verified so he was even more thorough but I can tell you its nothing to worry about, just make sure you know about things like shock loads, rope construction and your rigging knots. Also slow and steady when it comes to the climbing. Sensible selection of anchor points and don't hesitate to knock off small branches/epicormic on way up to make rigging run smoother. Let us know how you get on but i'm sure you'll manage just fine!
  10. Ain't that a beautiful sight! Just bought a 201T and wish id held on to my 020T and bought a 150 instead! Damnit!!
  11. May I remind you all of the invention of a false crotch, pretty useful things when no ideal unions are available, hell of a lot less friction too!
  12. I got some ordered in from gustharts mate they were about £60.
  13. Your eyes just cant keep up with me mate! Makes you dizzy, ahh now that explains your climbing
  14. With friends like will who needs enemies? Always trust a mate to try and undercut you...no seriously he'd fell a tree i was working in if it'd get him an extra days work or too! Also ditto to Chris's reply
  15. What a beast! Cant wait to roll around in that mate!
  16. New England Tachyon with single spliced eye. Works brilliantly with either frition hitch or mechanical devices i.e spiderjack when i use it! Worth paying extra for a good rope, especially when you use it every day. Much more hard wearing than its small diameter counterparts such as Yale blaze and imori. Would recommend it to anyone
