  1. Another vote for Lowa boots here , I've had the patrol boots for 3 or 4 years now - very comfortable and the only time my feet got wet was when I mis-judged the depth of water in a ditch! My feet were still kept warm though and my boots aren't gore tex lined. My brother also has a pair with gore tex lining and he regards them highly also.
  2. "It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark…and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it."
  3. "What is your major malfunction numb nuts?!" Brilliant film.
  4. I was also going to say this one. Another good one though "Goooood morning Vietnam!!!!"
  5. I've had tennis elbow the past year now and I'm only 18. Never played tennis or golf in my life. Can be a right pain sometimes.
  6. Lucky escape there mate, heal up soon
  7. "Hi mate sorry keep safe thanks Jon" Cheers Jon. Old Mill Tree Care if only it were legal!
  8. Sorry to hear that. They tried to cut into the the ISO containers and succeeded with one and cut a hole through a metal door into a work shop big enough for a person to walk through! Seems to be getting worse year on year.
  9. Morning all, just a warning the "sticky fingered people" have paid a visit to Sparsholt College. They tried to gain access into ISO containers and gained access to several workshops - however they didn't get away with anything. Rumour is that there has been a Romanian gang operating in the area and there is a possibility that they are armed. Keep your gear safe lads
  10. Get the sunscreen out looks like we are going to have a warm winter!!!!
  11. Hi all, about a month back I removed several lower limbs from 3 large veteran Oak trees - on one tree only when making the cut and afterwards there was a dark red liquid (almost identical to blood in every way) that came pouring out at first but slowing to a drip. The tree wasn't showing any signs of decay etc but when looking at the cut up limb later on I noticed a dark ring on one of the growth rings (like the symptom of Dutch Elm Disease). Anyone have any idea of what could be causing this? Unfortunately I didn't take any images of this at the time:thumbdown: Cheers.
  12. It is also on tonight on the History channel at 10pm - but it started last week.
  13. Very sad news as he was a very experienced pilot, RIP.
  14. Ah, got ya:thumbup1:
  15. Tendonitis is what my physic said I have, they said it is basically the same as tennis elbow...a pain for sure.
  16. Having been recently diagnosed with tennis elbow at the 'ripe' old age of 18 my physiotherapist gave me one of these to help. [ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Physiomed-EPI-SPORT-CLASP-MEDIUM/dp/B0036QT5OM]EPI SPORT CLASP MEDIUM: Amazon.co.uk: Health & Beauty[/ame] I've only had this clasp for roughly 4 weeks but I can say that it has helped so far with the pain They recommended carrying on with working/using the elbow but if it flared bad to stop and go back them. Regards Doug.
  17. That sounds about right, if they think it will cause them too many problems they won't bother with it!
  18. He deserves far worse than that...I agree this series isn't the best, the best ones were the first two - no bickering, bitching etc etc.

    D day

Must of been pretty grim for those five blokes in that mini-sub, I've not been to the cemeteries around there but have been to several in Belgium and some in the north east of France...very humbling.

Watching D-day As it Happens on channel 4, seems good so far.
  23. There's quite a lot in them but it isn't five star dining by any means...
  24. Husqvarna 257...not the nicest saw but probably the best runner I've ever used.
  25. Stihl Hiflex are quite good and I paid £140 for them.
