  1. That's the way to do it! I'm a bit confused by the terminology.. Is 'knockabout' the term used to describe a grab that is free rotating but not hyd powered rotator? And is that what you have Mick??
  2. Almost enough.... Name of the deceased? Background check?
  3. I reckon I could get away with sleeping during the day and partying all night, and not remembering what I'd done with a sqillion zid... I know, I'm weak!
  4. Context? What if there were a dozen spatchcocked spaniel puppies (or worse) in the hotel room? If we knew the context we could (possibly) 'feel' quite differently about the scenario we have been presented with. It's most out of character for you to make a snap judgement
  5. That was my thinking on the tree shear scenario, I didn't want grab and hold for that very reason.
  6. Not a problem and no need for anyone to get engaged in "shady" operations.... All we need is another term in government for the Tory scum!
  7. Serious? 200k/pa? 500k 1 mill? 10 mil? 30 mil? I like to think I've got some morals.... But, they are finite......
  8. Thoughts: (1) The video gives no indication of the broader situational or associated risk which might justify the methods adopted. (2) Initially, I assumed it may have been a single officer which might have provided some mitigation for the extreme, overt aggression. (3) The overt aggression directly contributed to the shooting by placing the 'victim(s)' under levels of stress which they appeared to be unfamiliar with and that which could be judged as directly contributing to the failure to adhere to the instructions (which, mindful of (1), appeared to be excessive.) (4) Too long between subduing and securing the victim(s) (leading to the assumption that it might have been a single officer which, it became apparent, it wasn't.) (5) No apparent threat reassessment (and appropriate scaling of levels of force (lethal to non-lethal and change of voice command tone) between subdue and secure. (6) It's a massive unknown as highlighted at (1) and the video is a snapshot rather than a comprehensive situational assessment - BUT - from the video alone, it could easily be interpreted that that officer always intended to execute 1 or both of them. Could be worse, imagine if they weren't 'white.'
  9. You might as well do it..... After all, "...if you don't someone else will..."
  10. Ummmm.... I couldn't do the back button at the end of the survey and the questions finished before the career options finished... Did the survey top out at 31k? That could be considered as indicative of an undervaluing of the industry....
  11. Cracking bloke! Haven't seen him for a while, must try and look him up before Christmas....
  12. Three days.... Thats's nothing! My mate "lost" his wife and spent 3 months on remand in Winchester after drinking Stella! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1375975/Navy-officer-cleared-of-battering-wife-to-death.html
  13. Could you clarify? I'm assuming, either: (a) £80 fell out of your wallet never to be seen again whilst you were at the bar purchasing a premium, cold, refreshing, continental alcoholic beverage.... Or, (b) you spent £80 buying Stella...? (a) being a foolish, careless and reckless act of irresponsible financial management Whereas, (b) might be considered a sound financial investment...
  14. I kind of remember a thread about forestry grabs where one in particular (can't remember which) was found to be 'weak' in the grab. Shouldn't be so much of a problem with a scaled down version - probably wouldn't get as much abuse as a big-boy forestry grab. @Mick Dempsey (that always seems a bit impolite, like a finger poked in the chest not meant as such ) Do you have a silage grab AND log grab Mick? I've got silage grab which I've used for brash and log before, just wondering if the log grab provides additional benefits that might make it worth having both??
  15. Can't see an electrical cable - I'm guessing it should need one to switch from grab to rotate?? Looks like an attractive price.
  16. The good, old, old fashioned barter system is my strongest and most favouritest "currency!" No middle muppets, no shiny asses taking a slice for typing a keyboard, no central control creaming off tax, no one has a say unless they have something tangible to contribute.... But it's good to spread the adventures!
  17. Don't get off that horse! That's exactly what the snowflakes want... There have been years (decades) of using the "racism" label to subdue genuine, intelligent discussion of the cultural diversity issue. And there IS an issue - people are starting to realise it now and to dismiss the tired, bully-boy, lefty, snowflake so called racism label to subdue it.
  18. Difficult to say.....? They appear to be one of those dreadful 'floating voters' since there's no way any true Brexiteer would EVER have countenanced having that flag on on their number plate
