Like others have said I would put a gob in it, as much for direction of fell and to weaken it for winching it over

I have RC 2001 and lowered some fairly big lumps on it and it is great. 2 wraps around the bollard then let it run a bit, never had it pulling my arms out. Haven't used the pulley that you can use with it but could see the advantages of taking the slack out of the rope.

Sounds like your having a great time back in your homeland. Looked like a proper old fashioned show and not to much commercial rubbish, did they have any livestock at the show?.. Is the new zigzag as good as the old one I still liked it better than the spiderjack
