  1. Thanks Steve that brake band band is very hard too find , they do come up once in a blue moon but at the moment this is going to be your best bet the only one I got is on a fully working saw http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DOLMAR-MAKITA-6000i-6800i-CHAINSAW-GENUINE-CLUTCH-COVER-BRAKE-HANDLE/263119175018?hash=item3d431ffd6a:g:fFsAAOSw5n5ZgOu7

  7. Can't comment on stihl but husqvarna 445 or 450 good reliable saws one less than £400 the other just over £400 and if I was putting a saw your way for the work you describe I say have a Dolmar ps-420
  8. Some good comments for you think about which ever small saw you get you'll always want too cut more than you where planning for , but which ever you opt for run good fuel and top grade two stroke oil and keep its gills clean

Had some good feedback this year so far from customers who've purchased Dolmar and makita outdoor power equipment this year , interest is growing every year the ranges of the mm4 4-stroke engined tools is growing and although not quite as zippy as a 2-stroke motor , the quietness and vibration is fantastic and fuel economy is much better so coupled with aspen savings can be made on everyday use the battery range is widening and improving this is a avenue makita is renowned for and now the garden and tree care range of equipment is worth indulging looking forward too seeing members of the forum @confor on friday
