You lose a bit of the bar length with these - but they look mean.

They are pretty mean if you catch the troosers with them too!

Yes your right Wallace a few years back I ripped the carpet in the back of my car pulling out this devil below by the bar cover

Hi Pulled one out of a 114 parts saw. Perfect fit on the 120 super.

Stuck now for a recoil pulley for a 7901 Makita, looked at buying one from Germany and the postage is 19 euros and the pulley is 12 euros. so that,s not going to happen. Who in the uk will stock one and post it?

I’ve put a parts drawing below let me know what number you need and I will do a price for you

  3. Dolmar PS-9010 still seems quite popular they still come with the large Dolmar mounts which I adapt to fit the Husqvarna mount

but Rob at chainsaw bars has kindly been stocking the sugihara 28” and 36” solid Pro

bars to fit these large mounts so it’s made things a lot simpler

I got a Dolmar 7910 from Shavey on here a couple of years back.  Changed a few bits as they've broken, but no worse than any other saw that I've run.  Still going strong and still really like the saw.  Video of it here running a 28" bar.

Just checked Wallace and you had the Saw feb2015

a week before that Tom up near you had one as well

  6. Thanks everyone

as you know @littlelionlee88 its quite a rare Saw only made for 1yr

it would be a collectors piece and only do what you’ve been doing

a great sounding Saw a little ripper I had one but due to lack of spares available I sold mine to a collector in Austria a few years back

I would be quite happy too purchase it from you or work out a sale

on your behalf If you wanted some help a PM with some information and history would be a start

Shame, the 365 isn't a patch on the 7900. I won't be bothering sending mine off and I will deal with any issue if and when it happens.

If and when you need the change over parts I will have them soon

give me a shout and I will be interested too see what brake flag they send over

Hi Andrew, it's all boxed up now for collection I'm afraid. It was extremely well wrapped.

The slip of paper I with it indicates they have changed the brake spring mech etc a "drilled" handle. When I spoke to their technical dept they said they are fitting these plates to reinforce a week handle. I don't think the plate/rivets has caused the handle to snap but that it's increased rigidity has just meant the whole handle won't flex and so the part above the plate just snaps.

Quite annoying really as it seemed fine before. Have you sold many handles Andrew? Suspect not. They seemed fine.

They want it back to look as are pretty concerned about the breakage occurring so soon. At least that I suppose

Hello Bill I have only sold one complete handle and the actual saw handle after a accident in the forest with one 7910

ive  sold a few brake bands over the years and a few springs

but never a brake flag through everyday use

they should be concerned as you’ve not even used it

also I noticed your spring is lost a bit of tension the retaining cup just needs a bit rounding of the end

I was overwhelmed with joy to return from holiday to find my 7900 returned to me. Thankfully it hadn't been nicked despite having just been left out by the courier. Eagerly I opened it up to discover what the important safety mod was....

    Hello Bill

that is bad cant beleive they would do this , surely drilling a safety handle isn’t a good idea , if you drilled a safety hard hat HSE wouldn’t allow this

can you send me some very very good detailed photos so I can chase it up I wouldn’t dare send a safety handle back too anyone

    in this state

obviously they’ve drilled it to put this sticker on the pop rivet has put pressure on the plastic then it’s had a bump via courier delivery

thankfully breaking it before you used it

it it will be interesting too see the handles that come from Dolmar
