  1. Cheers for the info
  2. I wondered if anyone was using one of these grapples on a mini digger.... Bucket Warehouse - Manual Mechanical Grapple There is a short demo video... Looks a valuable bit if kit! Been thinking about buying a New Holland E10 SR mini digger for among other things moving cord wood around. I'd be grateful for any advice.
  3. Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask... but I am looking to buy approx 500 scots pine trees... ideally 1m high. Can anyone suggest the best companies to try? North East Scotland if possible but further if they can be delivered. Thanks in advance
  4. Can anyone tell me please if any of the smaller loaders have cat 1 PTO 3 point linkage?? Thanks in advance
  5. Went to buy one yesterday.... Got told none available as a brand new model is just about to be released? Just wondered if anyone knew what the changes / differences are? Thanks in advance
  6. Yes thanks for this... I have emailed Riko, I'll post any suggestions / opinions
  7. I currently have a Kubota B3030 compact tractor... this was my 2nd Kubota and is about as much experience of tractors that I have. I'm considering an upgrade as I need more HP and an alpine tractor, perhaps an ANTONIO CARRARO is on the list. I wondered if anyone could let me have their thoughts on how the build quality and reliability would compare to my Kubota? The pic shows my 2nd Kubota when it was delivered Thanks in advance
  8. I was there Friday as well collecting a trailer... Didn't think to look!!! Thanks for the tip
  9. But to my knowledge they only sell Karcher and I have had bad experiences with Karcher Machines... Turriff Agri Parts are great though!!
  10. Hi Can anyone suggest a small mobile petrol pressure washer, that will work via a tank and gravity feed as well as mains supply? I was looking at this model from Machine Mart?? Thanks in advance
  11. I do... they leave you poor and unhappy (not including the wife... hello dear)
  12. I suspect this would be an acquired taste but I think it looks pretty hot!!
  13. What we ended up buying... a Honda Fourtrax ES 2/4WD Very happy with it... although the wife has decided it's hers! Thanks for all the advice
  14. I have been looking at the on line version also... I'm based in Scotland and in full time employment elsewhere just now. Would be interested to hear more about the on line side of things from anyone using this method. Thanks in advance
  15. Hi Phil

Thanks for the info. I think the Greenmech is looking like the best machine for us. If this changes at all prior to me buying one I'll get back to you.

    Many thanks

    Dave (blades)

  16. Guys... Thanks a lot for all the advice... It's very much appreciated. I feel the GM is te way to go!! Prices quoted as I called round today - GM £14350 + VAT TW £13250 + VAT Any better prices than this out there? Thanks again!!
  17. Hi I am trying to decide between a Timberwolf 150 or a GreenMech Quadchip 160 For use mainly on our own land but some commercial use expected... The turntable on the quadchip appeals ... I would be grateful for your professional thoughts?? Thanks in advance
  18. Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask but as the title says... is stump grinding a business in itself? The reason I ask is simply because a piece of kit like for instance a Carlton SP7015 TRX (40k +) is an expensive investment for something that is only used periodically? So are there businesses that are solely stump grinders or are they always just a part of general tree service businesses serving the entire service lines of arborculture? Thanks in advance
  19. I have about 500m of what I think are Sitka spruce trees running along the edge of my own road. Along this span they have been quite nicely spaced out at the time of planting so no problems here. Over years there is a build up of broken branches etc around the bottom of these trees and I think branches and tree cuttings from elsewhere have been thrown along here so the result is its solid and dence. I would like to clear all this and remove the lower living branches on the trees to approx head height (6').... My question is are there any negatives from the trees point of view of doing this? Thank you in advance
  20. Thanks for the detailed advice.
  21. I didn't proceed with that one after getting some more local advice. I'm totally new to these mini diggers and just want to make the right decision. Really grateful for everyone's advice, thank you.
  22. access on many occasions would be an issue for me so I think it's a 1.6T for me.... currently looking at a CAT 301.8C in case anyone has experience of this model?? Thanks in advance
  23. Thanks everyone
