Its more about her that makes the bloody dresses than gypsies !! Incidently these are indigenous irish travellers not true romanies although some will have married into roma families. Alot of nonsense if you ask me and playing to the cameras , nothing like reality so I'm told .
-
That would be a shocker reducing that imo..What a lovely conifer. If it has to go then i suppose needs must but i would not put my name against reducing that

Hi George, sounds beautiful over there. Bit of an out there question but would you know if they extract timber with horses in western Canada ? I'd be really grateful for any info regarding this . Thanks alot ' b2t '.

This is a great thread, it really cuts through all the nonsense of some who bleat on about really pathetic stuff, "he said this", "my post was deleted because of a swear, but his swear was not" boo hoo!!!!!
I have lived a pretty blessed life with very few bumps along the way, I'm very fortunate.
The honest post in this thread to just try and help a fellow member are heart warming and humbling, nice one guys.
I can't offer much in the way of advice, but if any one wants any inspiration or a way to look on the bright side and count your blessings just watch this vid.
A great motivational video for me was a youtube post featuring Lance Armstrong and the snowpatrol song ' open your eyes ' . Very very inspiring for me. Hope i can post it some day !

Certainly worth a poll that , good question .
-
I totally disagree. I will get my 110 anywhere a 90 will go, and anyone who can drive would also be able to.
Sorry tommer disagree , got through literally a garden gate at christmas that a 110 wouldnt have . The extra length makes no difference to turning circle then ?
-
Sorry treemonkey i cant help you with where to purchase a land rover but i would just like to say i would stick to your guns with the 90 . The tight places i've got mine into already that the 110 would never get has really been an eye opener for me . Each to there own though

If you want to set up a clique nathan i'd be interested

Couldn't believe how close that guys axe was to his flipline ! Great stuff

yes now looking you could be right about the goshawk mate, just missing some of there zebra stripes on its breast??? hybrid???
As you correctly pointed out maj it is a first year bird so the stripes etc wont appear until the following year . Its certainly odd looking being so pale which made me think it could be a hybrid there again it could just be a very light individual. The legs and feet would have been the clincher but hard to make out in the photo.
P.S I've been out with ferrougs many times and there highly aggressive and powerful but you need the right type of ground ( hilly ) for them to be successful really . They certainly added a curiosty factor
-
that aint no harris hawk rob, looks like a young Ferruginous Hawk to me????anyone else.
Good shout but it doesnt look like a Ferruginous to me . It has that classic gos yellow stare and the even more classic trashed tail
Ferrougs are rough legged aswell and have tiny feet which is the bit we cant see !

Absolute class! Dont think they get enough vit D up there though.
-
You done me like a kipper there lol !!!!
-
Too many chiefs and not enough indians over there i heard
Be interesting to attend some of the potlatches i've read so much about .
Do you know Evo if the canucks use horses to extract timber over there , if so in what capacity commercial , amenity etc ? Sorry for the derail.. hoping someone out there first hand could tell me . Many thanks

Don't fancy a climb in body armour. PPE is bad enough in the heat.

No there up at tullos.
Greenbank Business Centre, Greenbank Road, Aberdeen, AB12 3BN
01224 875 999
Don't bother phoning them because they very seldom answer it due to the amount of work they do.I'll bet they have more in the workshop than town and county.
What they don't know about L/R is not worth knowing.
Thanks for the lead there , i was hoping to find someone other than T&C . I ordered the tool/dog divider from them and they didnt even have the courtesy to call me and say it was in

it could be just the build up of condensation melting at the back of the head liner after the cold weather??
No cold weather up here Buzz , I've dealt with the condensation , lovely new interior panels with cargo nets and led's kindly wired by an arbtalk member

Use builders sealant or go up to greenbank 4x4 and get proper stuff from Colin.
I personally wouldn't use silicone,filthy stuff.
Greenbank 4x4 ? Is that the one near Kemnay with all the landy's outside ?

One thing about genuine traveller horsiemen their steeds are always gleaming , that combined with a good trot .. a matter of honour.![:001_smile:](//dcn6x9s7fzj11.cloudfront.net/emoticons/001_smile.gif.85de4dbf571682c521c1f17809dcc557.gif)
