  1. My door seals leak and I get a wet leg when the heavens open . Two years ago the gaps where that bad around the doors I actually woke up to a mini snow drift in my landy  . On the other hand she'll pull up conifer stumps all day drag the chipper and trailer to the moon and back . Everytime she gets scratched and dented it just adds character

Did you read the fix for the door seals ? ... Putty covered by tape ... I agree we shall cry it character building :001_smile:

  2. Drove a few hundred yards this morning and all of a sudden water starts dripping on my legs . Looked up and noticed it was coming out the interior light ! I stopped and popped open the lens and the heavens opened , well i reckon about a teaspoonfull came out . The only thing i can think of is its coming in the rear skylight seal and somehow making its way into the interior light. There hasnt even been any heavy rain which is a bit concerning . Is it worth sticking some silicon round the skylights or am i completely on the wrong track here ? :001_smile:

  3. I think thats why the sentence was low, the judge knew that with that saw the chances of any one getting badly cut was very low

I was positive i saw some varnish off one of them barstools :lol:

  4. No disrespect intended :001_smile:

That would be crazy . How many of us started off with a 20k vehicle without first testing the water's . If Joe really want's to do this kind of work I,m sure he'll find a way . I think he's doing the right thing by asking on here first . Get some basic training couple of saws's and off you go and earn some dollars . Don't let all these crazy figures frighten you off your dream

I'm not telling you he might buy a new hilux i'm telling you he DID buy a new hilux, he posted the pics on here !! I agree go for it :001_smile:

  5. Joe bought a new or nearly new hilux a few months back we'll say 20k . He is going to spend roughly 2.5k on tickets. We havent even looked at the extensive tools and equipment yet to even start competing with established tree firms. Get real chaps . :001_smile:

  6. Just buy another saw and keep the 070, tell the misses after your purchase and only when you need her to stay in to meet the courier - that's what I do, always works - if she really kicks up, take her to the local for a plate of fish and chips:thumbup:

Who said romance was dead ?:lol:

  7.

He was rather good at it. Apparently they didn't use different maps until GPS etc. came in :001_huh: Which is rather impressive given he just had a furry hat, a sextant and pencil. I have some copies of his North west territories maps on the wall, very detailed and a very good talking point!

Now why arent people like that honoured ? It does my head in . What an impressive find that was Sam.

  8. On interesting explorers, my Grandmother (who spends lots of time looking at family trees) has found a pretty solid link to David Thompson, the geographer. His brother married someone who gave birth to my great great someone or other... I think it's rather cool that my ancestor mapped most of Canada!

DAVID THOMPSON !!!! Your possibly looking at one of possibly the greatest geographer of all time . The accuracy of his mapping of Canada still astounds experts to this day . Now there is a guy i would call Sir !!

  9. Just watched it, very moving, first time I have cried on a Saturday night in ages, well with city playing tomorrow like, ha,ha:)

Me and the wife bubbling aswell . Superb film.:001_smile:
