  1. Exactly .. In some sort of perverse way it was a level playing field . How on earth do they work out the standings now going back to 1999 ? Do they give it to some non descript Spaniard who's credentials are probably less than honourable at best ? Does anyone really care now ?

USDA are beheading an American icon who took on the rest of Europe against all odds , died three times , got dropped by his team when diagnosed , and went on to win the worlds greatest cycling event 7 times in a row . The mentally strongest athlete possibly has never existed or we shall see the like again ...

  2. Its with great sadness that such an iconic sporting hero , 7 times Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong is being stripped of his titles . In one hand its just desserts for some but i'm gonna wear the livestrong brand with pride no matter what . :001_smile:

  3. actualy just done a quick net search and thats quite a distance for me from newcastle - maybe by the time i add fuel , overnight stay and of course the most important item - bait.

says £465 on the site by the way

will look closer to home i think

To give you a comparison the Barony college Dumfries are looking for £500 cs 40 training only, 2 days ( assesment later ) . Cs 41 £700 again training only 2 days, assesment at a later date . Eastec are doing all this including assesment in 4 days Tue - Fri for £495 real good value no matter where you are coming from :001_smile:

  4. Lets see one of your fells born2trot...???

??? Why ?? Would it give me more right to comment ? Would i be gauranteed to get your approval then ? What if someone didnt like it and posted something negative , it may hurt my feelings ? Why pick on me and not of the other posters it was only an opinion . You never gave your opinion on it ? Would you like an Arbtalk grading system ?

I'll post something when i like not when some stranger tells me that okay Mistahbenn .

  5. If you wanted to be really picky it was a bit of a long beard on the hinge but hey, I would be really chuffed if I could do as neat a job . Don't think he posed at all . you need the axe to hang on to so you want it in the most convenient place . Good job I thought .

The axe was all over the place , above him then below him though ?

  6. I thought he posed about too much .. seemed to fart about with the axe alot without it being actually of any benefit . The saw kicked out enough powder to re lay a horse arena . The ' dramatic ' scenery was just too staged for me . Much better reality vids from the crazy canuck arbtalkers imo ( sorry to burst the guys bubble ) :001_smile:

  7. Home of the legendary Iain MacInnes 6th generation horse logger and forester . He had a clydesdale that would let the timber run between its legs going downhill and ride the timber ' toboggan style ' lol !! Sheer class ..

  8. Hi folks ,

Have any of you chaps went through the visa / work permit process for America ? Am i right in saying the said company must sponsor or file an H-1B visa application . What is the approx time scale for this process ?

Any advice warmly received , thanks ...:001_smile:

PS... this includes temporary and permanent applications i believe .
