  1. There not designed to be used on the ground for reasons a professional arborist should understand . In saying that , weve all used them on the ground when you cant be arsed sharpening your ground saw or its playing up .. a convenience thing . There seriously isnt anyone on here would consider using one as a ground saw .. its blasphamy at best to the 200t:confused1: :001_smile:

  2. ten men is the best all round tree surgeon ive ever met, hes the guy standing behind me in my avatar pic. He has amazing talent for crashing jobs out and staying professional. Ive done up to 5 fair sized jobs in a day with him before. Amazing on a saw, great climber, amazing in a mewp, and i dont know any1 who can reduce big trees as fast and maintain great shape in the canopy.

Thing is thats not up for debate . Good manners is , just my opinion .

PS .. didnt think his post was rude , just odd .

  3. I've been a member for several years now, personally I've asked nothing of them, but I know of contractors who they have helped out. It's a no frills association, it does what it says on the tin so's to speak, run by people who do the job too. I'll be renewing next year.

Thanks Andy .. the course was free btw ,shame they cant get someone to update their website .
