  3. I agree if we could use a top handle on all sites we would but some of the work we carry out require the use of only back handle saws and as we only do this maybe once a month sometimes more then no call for a new backhandle and as we use 260 as a general ground saw seems perfect.
  4. its closer to Ballee don't know the proper name but its apart of a large country estate did abit of storm damage and line clearance(BT). Kurtis
  5. we use along with 200t a 211 and a 260 for general climbing saws. all great saws but i personally prefer the 260 its heavier but bit more power and feels alot more solid compared to the 211.
  6. We were doing abit of management in a private wood in ardglass during the last winds lets just say it saved us alot of hassle getting them down although extraction was difficult
  7. unfortunately it has happened in multiple cases. usually from yobo's who think the are experts and dont understand weight control, manning etc. Kurtis
  8. we have our 200mx done every 3 months or when it needs it whichever comes first.
  9. You can use a chainsaw at any age on your own land but to use it in arb. industry (as your profession) you need to be atleast 16 to pass NPTC CS30
  10. obviously haha but here in NI its 18 for any firearm for obvious reasons
  11. As said before 16 is minimum age as I had to wait until i was 16 to do it.

My boss over the years has found a handgun and 2 grenades working around the border areas of northern ireland. when he found the gun the local boys appeared but never got it and imagine walking into a bullet riddled police station and placing a grenade on the counter and the whole station clears out plus many bullets. 3 weeks ago we removed an ash at an industrial estate which had a pick head through the middle from one side to the other.   14. Ive done a few trees were arsehole school kids have hacked at the bottom with axes and knives in strips of woodland arounds local parks.

  18. Lol If they want to do arb they will. My dad spent since I was 7 to now(16) trying to convince me not to do it which only made me more determined to do it.
  19. Sorry to here this that will be a big blow for production for a wee while. weve had people climb into the back of our old tipper and steal saws and ladders while we were in it! some got away some weren't so lucky the lenghts some people will go too all the best in retrieving your equipment.
