  1. the cost is up to you. spend want you want. landies are like machano so its pretty easyto unbolt stuff off them and bolt stuff on also. exhuast and fuel filler might need adapting. you should of course notify dvla of the changes. oh yeah, you might need to stiffen the springs too.
  2. Yeah but i reckon theve all been rebuilt. or modefied to work
  3. i used an isc for a while on a metal core flip line. it was smooth, nice one handed action, didnt slip either but the stupid thing only worked one way! i like double stropping so i went back to my prussik loop. lovely
  4. so if you work for yourself who pays you?
  5. every one has thier limitations dont they. a small man wont lift as much as a big man but hes likely to be quicker around a tree. the same applies to girls. you gotta use peoples talents not put em down cos they arnt as good as the next man. i worked with a girl for a bit. okay she wasnt as strong but by god she tried and ill work with anyone who tries.
  6. 0800 during the week. ive got a feeling it might be 0900 on sundays. correct me if im wrong
  7. goddammit! im off to spit into some sawdust
  8. Ive got a little 1 too! cant remember the model off the top of me ead but its affectively a climbing saw with a back handle. Brilliant little thing... it came into its own when smashing miles and miles of ash/syc regen in a railway cutting. its so light that i didnt tire. also have it next to the chipper for those quick nips
  9. Yep, check the basics mate. dont sweat it, its still in warrenty right?
  10. Ah the old location trick... from what i understand there is a triangle area between three masts. youll be in there somewhere

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
