  1. As u know you'd still need a c licence but have you thought about a pinzgauer 716 P90? Can and will tow 5ton but is about 3.5t veh, when not towing the mill around you could use it (when you fab a box tipper) transport lengths or logs etc if you sell them. Shropshire Gunbus - Suppliers of exceptional vehicles. Pinzgauer suppliers, Pinzgauer petrol and diesel. Other mod site ive seen havent any apart from one but its been made out as an ambulance and would take to much to convert. Like the one in my avi
  2. Just don't wear tight pants if you have a visible beef burger. Simples
  3. Having been able to read through the whole thread, I'm very interested in getting a 717a. However is there still the small problem of the retaining spring spring off if you try to refit it again??
  4. It only gets better when there able to climb with lol Congrats
  5. When i bought my vt set up it came with this pulley DMM Hitch climber pulley (brass bush) | F R Jones and Son
  6. If you have an air line blow them out then use graphite poweder, as for a strap use any of the companies right of the screen bud
  7. Or its another wind up! Lol
  8. Im slightly worse for wear, but if u mean do they take any type of chip then its yes, but if there anything but chip found the load can/will be brought back to you with a bill to cover transportation etc

  10. Have a search bud as there a couple of threads on the zigzag and jonsie an the like are taking preorders now. Ive paid for mine and everyone that had a go likes or loves it
  11. They say anythink from20% or below bud
  12. Only forms i know of was, about half way through their time a teacher would speak to the employer, write some bits down whilst the lad or lass was there. After that we had to write a statement about said person. We just gave it to the work exp lad as 'homework' that night lol job done
  13. Just add him to the job RA give him the correct ppe and away u go
  14. Can you not speak to the college? As id of thought they would have to do some sort of check with the companies the boys and girls want to work for, and as above they drag and watch, i the trees big enough we sometimes let them go up with us, for the climb and to do something different. O and to provide them with the right ppe
  15. Had this also, after i sharpened a friends saw. The chip was up to 2'' long though it didnt jam or bog the saw down ??
  16. Try this and please check what uve written before you send anything bud http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/employment/52562-apprenticeship-available.html
  17. Thats it bud, before you've finished college carry on looking for jobs sending out cv's so that you may have a job lined up. Believe me i didn't want to work at m&s, but i did it to support my growing family. Its easier to find a job whilst your in one, than when you haven't. Maybe a hard pill to swallow etc but if your wanting the £££ to get you new gear or take you places, take what is out there and don't be fussy and just sit on your ass. Good luck bud and update us with the good news
  18. You may want to do tree work outside of college, but if your wanting to earn £££ take any job. Just before i started college i started working for m&s 40hrs a wk, also my 2nd boy was born a week before i started the job. On top of that was the college work and then i went looking /doing ,garden clearance/hedge trimming jobs anything for the extra ££ and experience and save for saws and climbing kit. So dont be fussy about what job you have, go to friends of family etc start there and let word of mouth take over whilst asking around other local firms or charities
