  1. Also to me, you know the basic cuts but used them the wrong way round in a sense. First couple that was clear could have been snap cutted, the one over the water could have had 'bird mouth' gob in it then slowly cut from the top so it swung underthen cut through or add a gob at 45degress to the left or right of where u ended up cutting. So in effect your steering the branch away from it. The one the almost got hung up could have been spear cut or as above. But all this will come as second nature the more you do. Dont forget to ask your groundy for opinion he might see something you havent noticed yet 👍 always keep good comms with your team Cheers dan O also with the 150 try not to force it through a cut. Its a great saw and will cut in it own time. Lol.
  2. Relax and take your time. Line up the saw right. Remember full revs on the saw when cutting, but it doesnt mean youve gotta rush. Be controlled bud👍 Also lucky the groundsmen was watching you lol otherwise hed have a face full of wood
  3. Would this be easy enough to hollow out without hollowing tools,if i took my time? Or should i just make a box from it ?

  9. 👍lol. Cheers. Yeah cant wait for u to get ur new nova. Might be best to take the head stock off bud. ( bolt underneith centre ) Its weights a ton and i all most put me back out putting it on the stand. O with that oak dish i used a dovetail to hold it on the chuck so the centre will be slightly raised

  16. After speaking to robert sorby yesterday, this morning i received a 1/2" collet which now fits everything together. 👍 Great customer service from R.Sorby and what a shame about record power. Ill not be buying anything from them again, crap customer service. Tech team not knowing specs on their products and telling me im wrong about the countersunk screws, which theyve under had any problems before. ! Step out that bubble recordpower and read forums its a common problem !! Rant over. Lol Robert Sorby all the way now 🎉
