  1. Fluid levels fine, I've cleaned the terminals and the metal rod the solenoid goes onto, wonder if there's a way of testing the solenoid function? Mind u I've no bloody idea what it does anyway! 😀
  2. Hi folks, my 2006 a530t feed rollers slowed right down randomly? Had been fine and no stress was working. I've turned roller speed dial on hopper up to 8 but didn't help so had to wind the brass nob on outside of hopper micro switch (one pointed at in pic) right in to get them going again....any ideas?
  3. Ford ranger supa cab tipper, ideal truck
  4. Hi folks, so what's the score with mogs? What licence do u need to drive one? Mot? Tax? Gvw? Is it a way round the 3500kg gvw issue?
  5. But are they all reintroduced???????? A animal recovered through a live capture exercise last year wasn't a DNA match to any of the reintroductions or "captive" populations...........crazy to think it could have just swam here tho eh?
  6. Check out the avants, very versatile
  7. Sometimes I think about putting my 7yr old in the pickup bed and letting the Labrador sit up front, the dog whinges less!
  8. I've got my 7yr olds seat in the back of mine without prob, the rear facing one might not be so easy in the back and there's so sign of an airbag off switch in the front
  9. I remember an old boy who had issues with lower legs/ankles (don't know what tho) so he looped the strap of a long felling lever over his left wrist and used the saw as his other stick to get to the tree, placed left shoulder against tree to do gob cut then down on one knee for the back cut, then away on the lever n saw! Anything is possible! Good luck and good on ya!
  10. That trucks been advertised with that picture for the last year or so, with locations from Shetland to the Isle of Wight, I was after a truck like that and kept seeing that one come up, always "transfer me the money and I'll deliver it to you"!! No ta!
  11. Try Chris, he does a few shows and is a good fella http://chainsawsculptor.co.uk
  12. Come south n get Rolland hemming to sort it for you, top fellas, great location! Did my cs41 with them last week
  13. I tend to fill 5ltrs from pump then use 100mm syringe to measure oil and add, syringe can't be far off
  14. I'm 37, the left kidney tho is 46 of his years and a few since I took ownership! The right knee is only 5 next May
  15. Cool, I'll check all those bits this week and see how we get on! Having changed the disc blades for a nice new set it's not really blinked at anything I've put through since! I'm happy with spanners and welders....it's electrics that get me! Many thanks for all the help, I'll let you know how I get on!
  16. It is a lister engine by the way, the serial number of the no stress unit is 0701015 Machine is model EC150/25 D Whilst I've got your attention........the gap between the cutting face of the disc and the shear bars is around 6mm. To much? Shear bar is quite worn and I'm guessing it could be replaced to help further?
  17. Hi, many thanks. I've had a look today and no sign of any sensor or wires from the alloy casing that's at the pump end, there is a small threaded hole that looks ideal for a sensor tho.............. Lights wise it starts with flashing red then sold red changing to green once revs are up? I've just fitted new disc blades which seems to have helped though I've not fed in anything that'd require the no stress to activate.
  18. Where is (or should be) the no stress sensor in the green mech ec150 chipper?? Ta
  19. As with all things in local authority it's always the "what if" "who's to blame" issue! If HCC were to knowingly allow any activity to be undertaken in its land without due consideration and something bad happens then there is a risk of contributory negligence being brought up! I'd like to say that Talismanfisher is my real name but sadly I am Dave! Drop me an email and we'll start thinking of what may be achieved.
  20. Hi all, I'm senior ranger for manor farm and royal vic so will ask the bosses for there thoughts on the idea, no doubt insurance/liability will come into it. As would the need to identify areas or individual trees that are not sensitive in any way i.e bats etc.....but if you could all dead wood above the paths etc I'd be most happy!
