  1. I read your post before it vanished eagleye, very true what you wrote there are a lot of suffering in the world and millions of people in far worse situations than me but that said it doesn't stop me hurting and missing my wife and daughter.
  2. Today couldn't have gone any worse so I'll cut to the chase, it turns out my wife doesn't want any future with me. I've not experienced feeling like this before, I cave caved in tonight and broken down, I've spewed time after time tonight and feel physically drained. On top of all this I am down sizing the business to try and give me some free time and I am having to move house. Jesus can my life get any worse
  3. Bye bye Bang Tidy Great, Iveco promised me the money from the Bang Tidy today so I could buy my new van, guess what, Bacs payment won't be with me till Friday..... Thanks iveco 😠😠😠
  4. Today is the day when I will be saying my farewells to the Bang Tidy, and my hello's to the Bang Tidy 2...!! My wife has invited me out for lunch on Fathers Day with her and my daughter Josie, obviously ecstatic but not really sure what to make if it...?? Only time will tell but it's brought all my hope and emotions back to the surface.... tic toc, tic toc
  5. Logging up the stem...?? You need an arbotrolley
  6. Feel free Liam mate, your always welcome :-)
  7. Chris about to own his biggest tree to date Quick trip to the tip site then off for an Apple & Birch reduction. It's been 20 degrees up in sunny Northumberland today and I'm off to collect my new van tomorrow eeek...!
  8. On Sunday night I plucked up the courage to go out for a few beers, down to Wylam the home of George Stephenson. After half a dozen Stella shandy's look what I stumbled accross..... The old Renault garage has been taken over by a classic car showroom and restoration workshop..!! Outside was an old Ferrari on a trailer, inside a Mk2 E Type Jag for £18.995 but my old time favourite of all time a 1932 Austin Seven. It's up for sale for around 4 grand if only.... The current owner, now in his eighties has owner it since he was 18. It needs a little love but what a beauty. The night came to a close with a pickled egg and a jar of muscles mmm Fluoxetine are my new best friend, I'm on 40mg per day and they are starting to take the edge off my raw emotions 😪
  9. I'm not sure about roof size yet, I'm thinking of 1/3rd
  10. Is there a way of getting round this...? Other than letting all the air out my chipper tyres lol
  11. I've not mate because they can't do the exact paint code I need 😠
  12. I have found if there is a slot cut out of the roof near the bulkhead it allows air to escape which reduces this, I hope 😨
  13. They have Matty, also with only getting the box built to cab height there'l be less drag so better mpg. The bang tidy was only getting an average of 15mpg sonim hoping for early twenties with this one 😊
  14. Yes mate, the back will be built up to cab height then painted timberwolf Orange, Sign written then hay presto 😉
  15. It's genuine mate, it'll do me for 5 years and still have low miles on 😁😁😁
  16. Spoken like a true Yorkshire man
  17. It is Johny but it's only got 16,000 miles on her and is immaculate in every way oh and also the big HP engine which is what I need.
  18. I thought I'd keep the new van under wraps till I got her as I'm a little superstitious But stuff it, I'm crap at keeping secrets 😉
  19. Can anyone help with a tree ident...? This veteran tree is growing very close to my house but not sure what it is 😳
  20. I looked at the transits but they don't carry weight like the ivecos and I need big HP to pull my big mincer
  21. I've learned a hard lesson this last month, life is not all about how my business looks to others, nor is it about fast cars or houses in the country. Non of this means anything especially when my wife and daughter is not here when I get in from work 😞 The Bang Tidy is an awesome piece of kit but I am reducing my outgoings, I'm stopping working 100 hours per week and I'm going to spend the next ten years hopefully with people around me who love me and I'm going to put them first over everything. I love tree work but the person I am have let it take over my life leaving me with nothing
  22. Well it goes Wednesday if anyone is interested in her before then, pm me fir price and details 😁
  23. No mate sold it to a third party
  24. The van I've bought is another Iveco 35c15 3.0Hpi with only 16,500 miles on it. Comes with toolbox with roller shutter and 11ft ally tipping body, the only thing it's missing is the Orange paint...!!
