  1. Very very true, I am so kit orientated that if I didn't have all my kit I could probably retire haha well not quite
  2. I might just buy a U900 as a toy and get it out my system
  3. "No Mrs miggens that tractor won't leave a mark on your grass"
  4. Bloody miles away haha, I think unimogs are a lot like drugs to us tree surgeons. As soon as you've had a little taster they seem like the best thing ever but you know it's so wrong and for the people who have been there and got the t shirt wouldn't go back apart from Huck ovviously
  5. I was up at his place not so long ago, are you based up that way?
  6. Will you have a quick look on arbtrader and give me your thoughts on it, cheers mate
  7. I'm looking at a tractor on arbtrader at the moment tim
  8. Oh and just if anyone is interested my chipper is for sale on Arb Trader...
  9. No need to apologize mate, this is what my thread is all about 😊
  10. Not my cup of tea at all although I'm sure someone will love it
  11. Aye I've got an o license, trouble is I need a vehicle with off road capabilities which in turn can remove chip from site...
  12. I'm on the understanding that if you can't carry chip on your mog it can be classed as plant therefore no o license required. If you can carry chip then an o license is needed. Only red diesel can be used when off the highway. No double fuel tanks allowed where you can switch from white to red. Not very grey as alot of people think. Very black and white. It's not agricultural as its tree surgery so although it's ag spec it's not used under the term agriculture.
  13. If you run a Mog on an I license you are legally aloud to carry chip.....? Arnt you?
  14. I might buy a little U900 just to satisfy my want, Tim don't you run two Mogs???
  15. Jon I wouldn't touch Atkinson Vos, I've heard too many stories...
  16. Arthur Ibbett have a U400 in stock but it's 88k lol
  17. Convince one of your lads into buying a pickup so he can sell logs on a weekend, then offer him £50 to get him to tow your chipper off road when you need it. Save on insurance and tax etc... Done it many a time!!!
  18. 4x4 is a must, I don't know how people work without one. Even if it's just a 4x4 without capacity to hold chip, just something to get you off tarmac. You can pick up a decent 4x4 for 5k, it's a no brainer IMO
  19. I've not been posting too much recently but always lingering in the shadows of ArbTalk, I'm on the hunt for a U1600 or U1650 if any of you know of any for sale?
