  1. Now obviously I know the benefits of a U1650 over the u1600, other than manoeuvreability are there any other down sides to the '50'
  2. How much chip can you fit in the back of a U1600
  3. I have an Iveco 35c 15 single cab tipper with a roller shutter tool box for sale, it's an 08 plate with only 20,000 miles on it with full service history, aluminium tipping body if your interested?
  4. Photos and positive comments and negative comments welcome
  5. Too much wonga Jon, poor tree cutter here, not a millionaire log salesman 😛
  6. You gona sub me the money Jon? They reckon your mattress is filled with 50 pound notes...
  7. Just spoken to south cave tractors and they have 2 in stock
  8. I'd love a Mog, and I mean PROPER MAN LOVE one. I look at them and I get butterflies in my stomach when I drive them or even see them and would sell everything to have one but...... And it's a big but, maintenance costs really worry me. I have toyed with the idea of changing my Vermeer and van for a Mog with pto chipper....... Do I, don't i, do I, don't i...... Help
  9. Who's off down to tuckers and when? Gray Git are you going mate???
  10. I made the big mistake of going back to a 3500kg tipper, and to be honest and I know probably most tree firms run them, they just can't cope with my work load.
  11. Very true, I have read troops comments on these vehicles but a lot of these issues were sorted, granted early ones were pretty awful and that's what gave them a bad name and although these issues were sorted, unfortunately the RB44 never won them over with such a poor start in life 😨. The application mine wil be put under will be far from what troops used them for. I understand they are loud, can't tow much, only carry a couple of ton, but, you tell me another vehicle that can be fully kitted out with winch, 4wd, tow my big Vermeer and carry 2 ton of chip and cost 10-12k on the road??? If you know of one please do let me know...
  12. Also decent mog is 30k, decent rb44 6k
  13. Unimog is far from the perfect vehicle
  14. I'm wanting an old daf flatbed with crane long term too..... Always a plan in the pipeline
  15. There is a recovery garage 30 mins from mine, they sell ex mod vehicles and have broken many rb44's so parts are plenty full along with very knowledgable mechanics who know these inside out. The bang tidy was a great bit of kit but parts were so over priced and hard to get a hold of, ie track rod end had to get shipped from Australia coz there were none in Europe at all! That was worrying to say the least, so when the clutch was on its way out among other things I decided to jump ship. I'm now running a 3.5 ton iveco 150bhp but it struggles fully loaded, and by god do I like to load them up :roll eyes: RB44 looks great and towing capacity of 2200kg is fine as my big Vermeer is 2100kg
  16. I'm looking into buying an RB44 and I'd love to see some RB44's which have been converted into tree trucks, I'd also like to hear your positive and negative comments on them... Cheers guys and gals
  17. I wish mate, £7,500, a little too much to spend on an eBay mental moment
  18. I've been having a bit of a quiet one really, I took two days off mid week this week and spent them down the quayside just chilling. When down there I sort of stumbled across a $50,000,000 super yacht skippered by Dale Smith originally from Elswick. The owner an American fat cat is meant to be knowbody you would know and likes to keep things as low key as you can owning a 50 million dollar super yacht lol. He is I. the north east for 10 days seeing the sights as this is where his daughter went to uni...
