  1. For me it's the Teles or Danarm 2 man saws. Had one and deeply regret selling it.
  2. Hi all, I have a mate of a mate of a good mate who wants roughly 3 builders bags worth of firewood for campfires and fire pits. After some larger bits to be included. As said RM4 Chigwell Bournebridge area. I could do it but the time involved and a 140 mile odd round trip and Dartford crossing with a trailer will make it expensive. Pretty sure there is someone closer. Please feel free to message me a number which I will gladly pass on. Lastly, apologies if I should have posted in another section of the forum. Many thanks Bob
  3. Morning. Not bad here. Grey and cool. If it stays that way I won't get crispy. Last late so, it is my Friday!!! Have a great one
  4. Morning Was a bit damp around midnight. Ok now. Cool and Grey. Clearing brush on the boundary to discourage a naughty fox after my hens. Then 16:00-02:00 grim. Have a great one.
  5. Morning Hoping for a better day than yesterday. Late shift today....uuuurgh. Midnight finish. Be safe and happy.
  6. Morning, Last day off. Lovely and cool with nothing on the agenda. Have a great day.
  7. Morning Been a while, sorry. Heat and early starts have messed me up. Flip between hungry and tired. Day off no2 and finally it's cooler. Truck rear brakes need a look at. Plus a load of metal off to the recyclers. If I make it without falling asleep and choking on my lunch I'll see you all tomorrow. Have a great one.
  8. Another Plus 1 for Gator Oil I only buy 25l at a time and from memory. Gator price on ebay or direct was very similar. Only diff was that you could get different grades direct. They only ebayed ET30 whereas direct you could get 40 and 50. Plus now a Bio.
  9. Morning. Or lunch break more like. Sadly it was raining at 2am and hasn't done much else since. Yesterday I baked my bean. Today I'm soaking it. British weather... 😁 Have a safe one.
  10. Morning Been away for a much needed rest and feed up. Hope everyone is well. Back to it tomorrow for another 5 early's. gloom. Have a great one.
  11. Cheers @topchippyles Early I can do. Nights were a real pain. Good luck and have a great weekend.
  12. Morning. Onsite and ready to go. Smell of burning in the air (sadly) and rumours of a big farm fire in Charlwood. Hope you all have a great day. Sun's out, protect yourselves.
  13. Morning Stopped for lunch Lovely day, hope it clouds over a bit or I'll be scorched. Have a great one.

  22. Morning, Rained last night at 3 and 5. Clear now. Been shopping with Mrs and all set for a lovely quiet afternoon. Have a great weekend.
  23. That is why I suggested Lurcher. Dog in my pic is half terrier half whippet. Small smart and will walk all day. Curls up like a cat. Perfect....but at 15 hasn't got much longer.
  24. Hi @eggsarascal Had whippets for 20+ years. An entirely suitable dog as said. That said, when I'm going to replace my aging pair I'd be looking at a lurcher. Whippet cross bedlington , jack or collie. Yes a bit hairy, but cheaper than whippets. Price of purebred has gone bonkers since lockdown. Unless you get lucky....in which case please give me a shout. After a nice whippet bitch to add to the pack!
  25. Day 5 and the last early start till next Tuesday Cool and quiet. Hope it stays that way. Happy Friday and maybe get to pop out later on with the Herberts for a jar. Have a great Friday and a great weekend.
