  6. Morning Loads of Ash to cut split stack. Bloody Lovely Be seeing ya!
  7. Like the idea of a compact tractor, but also am keen that muck truck/track barrow can access narrow gates. Plus could fit in pickup tub and be stored securely. Lastly... it'll be down to £. Trying not to be a miser but it must pay it's way.
  8. Very much like the idea of being able to load a skip load from log shed straight to truck. When I look, sadly, they all are outside my price range as a hobby user. Thanks
  9. Morning Cool and clear. Worst of the Lurgy gone. Loads of dead ash delivered yesterday. More on the way today.....so chop/split/stack repeat for the near future. Living the dream :-) Can almost smell the weekend it's that close. Have a great one.
  10. Morning Lurgy day 3 Outside having a tidy up. Have a good one.
  11. I did a search. All I got was tracked chippers. Many thanks.
  12. Hi All, I was looking to invest in one to help move logs around rather than barrow. Hoping they would be easier on the ground (clay, currently wet) and make larger loads possible. In addition I was hoping it'd load into the back of a pickup and help with same. Movement of logs/cord over soft ground. Are there any pointers / pitfalls I should look out for? Hydr vs manual tip. Flat-bed vs Bucket Anyone have a similar situation? Cheers Bob
  13. Morning Got Mrs lurgy. Feel pants but I'll be out in the freshness as it always makes me feel better. Have a safe start.
  14. Morning Clear at the mo. Getting gustier. Hope you miss the worst of it @Doug Tait Quiet Sunday I hope.
  15. Yes, but after a dreary start....what a bloody lovely afternoon it has been! Hereabouts at least.
  16. Morning Hoping weather improves.
  17. Nope.. Plan A. It'll be delivered and I exchange it for beer tokens. Trying to not be a stupid as I am funny looking. 😁
  18. don't know if this counts. Nothing planned, got a call...loads of tree waste available (next years firewood). So, I started to clear space found I had a load of decent dry scaffold boards in the way. Ended up re-decking the 8x4 trailer. Problem solved. Space and new-ish decent-ish trailer deck. Potter-age?
  19. Morning Mrs has lurgy so I'll be mainly outside keeping my distance. Have a great pre-weekend. Be good.
  20. I was always told. Those top knots on men and horses tails are the same, in that they both it on top of a big ar$ehole.
  21. Morning Was a bit blowy to @Stubby Bins out. Mission complete....potter on! Have a safe one.
  22. Morning and Happy Hump Day. I await the septic tank man. Then..... minor potterge I hope. Have a dry one.
  23. Achieved by Lunch.... Went out with the intent to sharpen some chains and clean the saws after a couple of sh1tty wet days. Got distracted by a recent SDS Drill auction purchase. Stripped and cleaned the motor and brushes. It now works 100% potter-age. Who knows what this afternoon will bring?
