I know this doesn’t seem like the right time to spend money but take this opportunity to create a decent flyer ready to pop though the door for a customer in need of tree work or garden maintenance, they would of been looking at there gardens and trees knowing something needs to be done while in isolation, this is a open door to work, ride out these hard times. You’ll get a break mate! All the best.
  2. Be it a bit late I was going through some old threads, I dug out a photo I was very pleased with it, I went with the danish oil in the end, as always got some great help and advice from you guys.

Sorry guys I’ve been out the game 3 years now and getting back into I’m at weekends, I’ve noticed the zigzag has changed I’ve still got the one with the swivel at the bottom, should I still be using it as it was my retired friction device that I’ve dusted off and currently have back in use, I was aware of the cracks before and it was swapped over maybe 5 years ago now.

  5. Ok mate thanks, I'm using blue tongue at the mo for a long and short line just looked at the reef for a 30m line as a good price... None else not used it???
  6. Does anyone have any feedback on how good this rope is I'm looking at getting a bit for use with my zigzag?
  7. I'm using a pair of lightweight motor cross gloves holding out pretty well.
  8. My mk2 gets changed on Wednesday for the mk2 version 2 mistaken for mk3 what is non existent, my mk2 broke/cracked on the very bottom rivet.

  10. Hi mark, thanks for the offer I'm living 5 mins from gatwick so quite a way from you, I was thinking a wax as i don't want to change/loose the colour or the wood with the sanding is it in stages 60-120 then onto 240? Thanks again mate.
  11. Hi pal thanks for your help its a real nice piece I've not made anything before so any tips you have would be good, like sanding finish product with a wax... It has some great silver grain on it.
  12. Hi it cost me £100 but I used to work for the chap I got it off, I haven't picked it up yet but can take a picture when I do would you not recommend working on it straight away I want to make a tv table/ rectangular box.

I've just purchased myself a English oak board 2" thick 19-20" wide and around 14ft long its been aired dried for around 5 years and was at the bottom of the stack but had got a little wet as water has run off the tin onto it in places, my question is can I start working on it now as I want to make myself a tv table with it that with live indoors, it's a straight edge.

  17. Yeah £80 climbing 1-2 times a week still learning but main job is groundy experience and learning all the time Not this is full time employment I'm not sure as a subby
